Yeah, great value.
That TBA is always worth following.
I would pay that in all seriouness, just for the headliner.
Sadly I wont be there because 1/ waiting for me rebate from the Birmingham show. 2/ At the O2 the day after.
Don't you just love being a boxing fan.

Not a comment of the bill which does look like great value but why is Michael Jennings still fighting 8 rounds against TBA at this stage in his career?

Better him fighting an 8 rounder in the wait to fight for a Title then not fight at all and be rusty when something comes up

MBP,
I think the point Lenny is making is that he should be there now, not having marking time fights.
He hasn't fought since April, and has only fought 4 times in over 2 years.
He hasn't really made the WBU bauble work for him financially.

I see what your saying, he should be there now. But until the Big fights happen's why not have a few 8 rounders while he's waiting?

Agreed MBP.
I have always been a fan of Michael's and he's certainly got a loyal fan base.
Just a little frustrating he isn't fighting for a meaningful version of the title right now.
The clock's ticking as they say.

Your right.. I think he's one of the most skillful boxers in the Country he does everything correct and it is about
time he got a shot at something bigger and better..

Not a bad bill. Would like to see the Brook, jennings and burns fights. But like Twentysix I wont be going either so hopefully some nice guy on here will do a RBR. :DDD

26 is right, i'm all for him getting in the ring when he can but Jennings is widely regarding as the strongest welterweight we have in this country (my opinion anyway) and he should have been able to progress further with his career.
