The individual fan I don't mind, some of my best mates know Spurs fans, but as a collective group, team and supporters as a whole, I hope they sink sink sink, so we can lump them in with Leeds in that 'Sleeping (Comatose) Giant' category.

When Spurs bring 5000 fans up north for a match at OT or Anfield and create a great atmosphere - you know you are playing a big club.

Spurs are 20th richest club in Europe without CL football or a Sugar Daddy like the West London w@nkers. That's a big club.

I've been a Liverpool fan for 20 years, I've been to well over a hundred league matches home and away, I've been to FA Cup games(including 3 finals) I've been to european matches at home and abroad.

Now that is a big club!!!

Edit - Oh I forgot I've been to god knows how many reserve matches as well

And yes I did support them through the shit years and that is when I went to most of their matches because a lot of my time since the turn of the millenium has been spent on the other side of the world.

And if you don't think that Utd. think were a big club then why don't you ask their fans why they are so obsessively desperate to overtake us in number of championships?

To be honest I would stick up for Liverpool (and have in the past) if someone said they weren't a big club as I am fully aware of their fan base and history and their contribution to the rich tapestry of the game of football. A comment deriding their stature as a 'big' club would be just as stupid as yours was about Spurs and Newcastle.
