Cook/Khan/Audley (Enzo?) - Excel 6th December

To be fair it looks like it may be a decent bill, as long as Khan, Cook, Chisora, Small arent given tomato cans.

Mind you, if Enzo vs Banks gets added it would be a cracker regardless. I quote FW.tv "Warren also added that there will be one more big title fight to be added to the card and further details will be announced at a press conference in London on Thursday (30 October) at a venue to be confirmed."

I like the Excel too, better than the pain-in-the-arse O2 imho.

Yeah Id imagine it will be Macca and Cook as the two title fights. Only other big title fights (out of those names you mentioned) I can see is Small or Audley fighting for something like the Commonwealth title.

Well Audley is versus Rogan, so that should be good. I reckon that Small might be due another step-up fight, so that will be interesting to see who he's matched against.

Even the domestic middleweight rematch should be good!

£30 tickets for me though. :TU:

Depnds if they are intending to make this a PPV or not - if not, it will get plenty of viewers through sky plus or around the Froch fight.

Good to hear.

Wonder who Chisora will be put in with. Skelton and Williams Id imagine aren't in the picture, Sprott is mandatory challenger for his old European Union title against the chap who beat Gammer last. McDermott's injured and Gammer retired. Chris Burton is the only domestic opponent I can see him being put in with. Anyone heard anything on his opponent?

Chisora KOd him a few fights back didn't he? Would he wanna go back over old ground again?

edit - Plus just checked Sexton's record and he is down to fight Colin Kenna for the Southern Area title a few weeks before. Looks like it will be International opposition.

Okay - well Sexton has just won the Prizefighter and he did beat Burton - thats why I thought of him.

I don't know why they couldn't of done them on seperate weekends.

I would of gone to one of the cards but if i did i'd miss De La Hoya-Pacquiao and there's no way i'll miss that for any of those fights.

They could have done 1 on the Friday night and 1 on the Saturday.

So, are we going to pay the £15 PPV and get the Cook/Khan bill and the Pacquiao/Hoya card, or just the former?

I thought Bob Arum had a contract with Setanta? If so, I can't see this being on Sky. And yes, I realise it's a predominantly Golden Boy event, but does anyone know what this will mean regarding what channel it's on?

Sorry if it's a blatant answer, and I come across as DG on prozac.

:o

Not that I like having a pop at Frank or anything but since he has returned to SKY I think the general Friday night offerings have diminished in quality and the value for money with this ridiculous PPV nonsense is also none existent.
