interesting one IMO, what's everyone's thoughts?

the Rendall Munroe/ Trotta(?) bill in Dublin has this fight (as well as Darren sutherland's pro debut i think) on the U/C

i say Watson is that bit too tight and orthodox for Amar and takes it over 12. maybe watson goes behind on the scorecards early but comes on strong in the later rounds when Amar- who is slightly faster IMo and rangier but relies on a LOT of movement- tires from his running act. the only time I've seen Amar in longer fights he seemed to tire quite badly and as profligate as he is with his energy I can see Watson taking over mid-late rounds, if he hasn't done so already.

is this a fight that devalues the Commonwealth belt too? :)

So Watson is still with Maloney ?
It had been reported on here that he'd signed for Hayemaker.

I can only see a Watson win in this one.

I like Watson. He beat Matthew Hatton with ease. Craig also has underrated power and his left hook should stop Amar in his tracks, just like Dean Hickman did when beating Amar a long time ago.

think watson will win. didn't think amar was ranked that high in commomwealth rankings. would like the winner of this to fight the winner of brook vs mcintyre

there was ment to be 2 eliminators. mutley vs o'donnell and docherty vs thompson. docherty has moved to light welter. think the winners of these matches was going to fight a final eliminator?

Mutley - O'Donnell is an interesting one. O'Donnell should box Mutley's head off but the Mut could dramatically turn the fight around with one punch. O'Donnell is there to be hit and his shock KO loss in America is of cause for concern.

agree mate i think i am looking forward to this one even more than froch - Pacal, but I am a bit weird that way....

late rounds will be interesting, Mutley's general tendency to wind down late/ possible poor stamina, against the question whether O'Donnell can maintain movement and defensive composure....

I hope the mix of Promotors involved with the boxers mentioned doesn't lead to joe public missing out again, because the potential match ups can't be made.

Good fight that. Saw Amar dispatch Lloyd earlier this year and was fairly impressed with the Lad. That said, Watson has been impressive lately.

As mentioned above, hopefully Promoter politics can be removed and this will be added to the 6th December show.
