I still think Froch is the only fighter out there who could beat JC, but people are right: Hennessey should concentrate on his man fighting Pascal and forget Calzaghe. The winner should target Bute.

Plenty of good fights out there for Carl after this if he wins, perhaps even Pavlik, as well as Bute and Kessler.

Gents - do not underestimate Mr Hennessy - he has got a bloody good deal when all things are considered with ITV and thats just when they are makin cut backs in other areas.

Hennessy is a wyly old fox and one of the best negoitiators around - and okay I do not believe one minute Calzaghe would accept the offer but if he did - £5m is a rather small sum in comparison to what this fight would generate with TV deals, sponsorship, and ticket revenue.

With all that said although I think Carl Froch is a world class fighter and I have stated that since day 1 - I think Hennessy sending out a Press Release concerning Calzaghe is a blunder - Pascal is no mug who Froch is fightig next - whilst I think Froch will win the fight and win well, I simply think its a massive PR blunder of Hennessy Sports to be sending out this sort of in my view b*llocks when Froch has got to win his toughest fight to date with Pascal.

Froch will in my view prove his worth as a viable world class operator - I am convinced of that - but the arrogance at world level can easily bite you in the arse - and I have to say if Froch were to lose against Pascal - I am wondering whether Hennessy's deal with ITV will be as lucrative - and its that very point Hennessy should concentrate on - think about this fight - not sending out press releases about the next!!!
