Well, the WBA have done it. Nikolay Valuev is signed up to fight Evander Holyfield. Holyfield has not fought since July last year and is 46 years on. The farce is on December 20 in Switzerland, which gives Valuev a Christmas present.

Any credibility the WBA had has been washed away by this piece of stupidity.

I predict Holyfield to win, Valuev is to slow and even at 46 Evander should be able to outbox him.

Holyfield will struggle massively with the 7 footer. Valuev's KO of Barrett is still one of my favourites and at 46 Holyfield might help Valuev create another highlight...

Posted a reply to this on current scene. I agree with Ben. I give Holy a good chance in this if he is as active as he was in the Sultan fight. I dont give him a hope in hell against one of the Klits' brothers, but in this there is a slim hope. I am a huge fan of Holy's and wish he would retire, but that ain't gonna happen. Hopefully he can win this and retire with the belt as he has always said. If not he may be forced to retire after copping a belting.
