Haye-2Gunz start time?

Either this is the best kept secret in boxing or I'm shit at finding out info.

Are they catering for the yanks and sticking it on at 2am or are we going to have a rare prime time show. Not that fussed either way as long as The Gifted One gives him an impressive-looking shellacking, just wondering how it's going to fit in with my night on the piss

My first post, although I have been reading the forums for ages!

My understanding is that its going to be a late-ish start around midnight-1am.

Lets hope he can take Barrett out early so we can all get to bed.

I think Haye and Barrett are due in the ring at 11 PM. That's what I heard anyway.

quite weird that last admission is 11.30pm

would be good though, not sure I can face that god-awful bus back to the city again.

A couple of the betting sites seem to suggest the fights going to take place around the time I'm suggesting too (when I looked the other day).

It's in Whitehaven.

Rhodes is slated at 11pm, as chief support.
Haye follows and I believe the plan is around 00.30.
Subject to how long the Rhodes fight goes, they'll probably show another undercard recorded fight in betweeen.

**David Haye, has changed his fight time to please his fans. His first heavyweight bout has been moved to an earlier time of 11.15pm so his supporters can enjoy the fight to the max, including getting to and from The O2 by public transport.**

I think the settee is very under-rated

Word is they might be bringing the fights 45 minutes forward - but don't know how TV feel about this.

Cheers, going to find out about Tube availability at that time. If not I will ask the hotel if they have a car service, or can recommend one. Neither of us drive unfortunately.
I dont fancy yoiur chances Terry - even if the tube is running (I think it closes around mid night) literally 1000s will de decending on the station after the main evert and dont rely on a bus either - the roads will be logged jammed by people trying to leave the car parks.. I have had that exact dilema myself in the past.

My advice? Get some pre rolled and take a stroll back to your hotel.

THe O2 might be one of the best areans in the country as far as facilities and quality of view are concerned but the infrstructure around it is just inadequate.

I would only go there again if I had a hotel in walking distance.

Good luck though!

It's a dog shit place to get in and out of. I stayed at the Brittania last time I went there, and it's within eyesight of the O2, yet is a fornicating wierd walk plus two different tubes.

Nuts to the O2.

Cant wait for the Excel show and staying at the Custom House hotel :TU:
