I'll get the ball rolling with these three...

Hagler-Leonard, circa 1982 - Wasn't to be. How would it have turned out between the quicker, more elusive Leonard, & the bigger, fiercer Hagler? Each man was appreciably fresher than when they eventually met, five years down the line.

Castillo-Corrales III, circa 2006 - Signed, sealed, &...never delivered. Could Corrales have recovered from Castillo's domination of their second encounter?

Whitaker-Quartey, circa 1998 - Another signed fight which never eventuated. Whitaker was clearly the better man at Welter in his hey day, but he was on the slide at this time. Could the Quartey who would go on to hand De La Hoya one of his career-toughest battles pull it off?

Gilroy-McAvoy circa 1939- British middleweight title.
The hard-hitting Scots/Italian hungry for world title opportunities vs. the equally destructive puncher in Jock McAvoy. Gilroy a 1st class stylish boxer and knockout puncher who's awakened the British public & sport's writers onto "the starting favorite" or the relentless, merciless McAvoy still vying for world title chances of his own.

Gilroy-Mills circa 1944-45 - British light-heavyweight title.
The cagey Gilroy already proving his ring craft and cleverness against Mills with and excellent display of Boxing & Footwork, though in the lead in a non-title showdown early in 1944 only to suffer the loss owing to a cut eye, or the determined Freddie Mills who probably takes more punishment than any other champion hoping to wear his man down with his bigger, stronger size and rarely admitt defeat will.

result wins World Title fight as there is No War on!
