It even made Enzos trot to the ring look composed

Caused a fit of laughter in my household, especially after I'd said that this Barrett guy was no joke.

Ultimately feel very sorry for him though, after all of the talk of his life finally being in order and being focussed, he has a Benny Hill moment before a fight in which he was put over multiple times on the way to being knocked out... confidence is probably in pieces. Hopefully whatever he banked is enough to soothe any hurt pride.

After that, and Enzo's ring run/walk.... does it suggest that Haye really gets into his opponents head prior to a fight? His confidence, composure etc.... mind games, ie making weight with Enzo while drinking a protein shake, and all the hotel business with Monte...

Maybe not, but in both his last fights, his opponents have looked "too fired up" coming into the ring, and ultimately been banged out.

Either way, I don't want a somewhat serious question, to ruin a thread about one of the funniest ringwalks ever, but it did get me thinking

It was an excellent ring entrance no doubt about it. I think it could develop into a trend

He could have sprained his bloody ankle... first thought that occurred after the laughter had stopped.

I was at the fight and a resounding chorus of 'waaaanker.....waaaaanker.......waaaanker' went up around the arena, or at least it did in my section of the Arena.

What was he thinking? He seemed to think he could use the top rope to simply vault over it! Does he not know that that the ropes are made of.....well, rope?

He just looked nervous, and sprinted into the ring.... like he had a point to prove. No apparent confidence or composure.... similar to Monte.

I don't know which is more embarrassing. Tough choice for the editor, but I'd probably have gone with the ringwalk, as it seems more relevant to the show than two grown men making a puddle

Just all the compaining that Barrett did before the fight - shitty hotel, food allowance, business class flights etc.... just seemed that something had got to him and his mind wasn't on the job 100%.

Was stood just beyond Monte when he decided to do a runner to the ring - asked him in the dressing room what it was all about - he just grinned - then ignored me and chatted to my son.

Have got to say - I p*ssed myself when it happened and when David Haye was told he also had a giggle.
