Rhodes on Vuma, Small and Paul Williams.

rhodes is simply not good enough for a world title , he should make some defences of that wbc international title , make some ££££ and then maybe challenge for the european title , thats his level.

he tired badly in the 3 rounds vs vuma , vuma is very limited and did not fight at a pace and rhodes was still very tired.

i think ryan only by mythical matchmaking and a vacant world title will he ever become world champion.

ps: i like ryan rhodes but ppl need to be honest in his skills , he would be badly exposed vs forrest and kayoed in 3-4 rounds , defending the wbc intenational belt is the best bet for him just now and hope that a world title becomes vacant

I give Ryan a decent shout against Forrest who is there for the taking. Forrest is pushing 40 and did lose to Mora (avenged) and should have lost to Quartey.

I think Forrest and Phillips are there to be beaten now, and would give Rhodes and Moore a decent chance.

To be fair to Vernon, in the first fight with Mora he tried to lose 9 pounds in a few days. And Sergio is bloody huge for 154.

I'd love to fight Rhodes to show him how one dimensional I am, I'd smash him. Sorry 26. By the way, I'm number 10 WBC, not Ryan.

agreed Mooresy would beat Rhodes.

Jamie, I think you are a very good fighter -very well rounded, but I think styles do make fights and I believe Ryan would stop you mid to late rounds. Its a good fight and I hope it comes off and you both get qa good pay day from it.It would sell out a lot of arens that fight.

That is not "to be fair" at all.... why did he neglect the training so much. Took Mora lightly? He'll take Rhodes and Moore lightly also then.

I hope it comes off too, just to say "told you so" when Ryan is dragged into the deep waters and stopped.

Not a cats chance in dog town of that happening.I don't think it would go that later.He's too easy to hit and would get busted up and stopped himself, long before it got to 'deep waters'.

think ryan would beat moore. watched moore against andrew facey and facey was was causing moore problems. ryan is better than facey so if moore hasn't improved from that performance ryan will stop him

I honestly think it would be a 50/50 affair.
Not sure whether the chosen paths of each Promotor / Fighter means this is feasible, but you never know.
The old saying of styles make fights couldn't be truer if this fight came off.
Not sure where Boxrbob gets this impression of tiring from - were you at the fight ?
I also think to describe Vuma as very limited is well out of order.
Wales - what is your beef with Rhodes - or is it just that your a Moore fan ?

I think Moore would outlast Rhodes in a very good fight, just wish we get to see it.

As for world level, i think both boxers wouldn't be out of place challenging for titles.
Vernon Forrest blows hot and cold, as his 2 fights with Mora show, get Forrest on a bad night and i could see both Ryan and Jamie beating him, and his bad nights are getting more frequent.

Verno Phillips takes on Paul Williams next, and i can't see the older Phillips keeping his title, Williams just looks to powerful and skillful for him. If thats what happens then it could be a big ask for our boxers to take him on, for me Williams looks a bit special.

WBA champ Daniel Santos is a tough man, and he doesn't mind fighting in his opponents back yard, this guy has won in Italy, UK, Germany and Canada against home boxers. I could see him being tempted back over here if the offer was right, would be a hard task for Ryan or Jamie, but Santos is nearing the end of a very good career, so you never know.

Sergio Gabriel Martinez recently won the WBC title, and we all know how tough and awkward he is. Again he's beaten british opponents in their own backyards, so he wouldn't be afraid to come back here again.

the reason i think he looked tired is because hi workrate dropped big time in those last 3 rounds , i gave them all to vuma , after 9 rounds though rhodes was miles ahead , i had it 7-2 at that stage but 7-5 (115-113) at the end.

what worried me - vuma is not a volume puncher and rhodes looked very tired in the last 3 rounds

Genuinally think if its for a European or World title - Ryan Rhodes v Jamie Moore would be a magnificent fight which would generate an awful lot of interest.

As to the winner - for one of those very rare occasions - I will keep that to myself

Im up for that...... Ryan wins pretty easy between 6-10 rounds Moore has not fought anybody close to Ryans class .......and moore is easy to hit ;;-)

I'd take the best.Macklin is in slow mo compared to Ryan, both of hand and foot. I think Moore -Rhodes is good on paper, but could turn outv quite easy for Ryan.
