Might sound silly.... but if Ricky's plans come into fruition he is going to need a new coach for the DLH fight.... who will it be?

Good point.
It depends who is paying the most money, if Hatton offers the most money to Mayweather then Mayweather will train him.
Especially if it is supposed to be both boxers last fight..

DLH will put in the money, not doubting that. He things the son shine out of Floyd's back side.

is mayweather snr still training de la hoya that will be interesting think hatton must keep floyd snr at all costs if last night was anything to go by.
How many top fighters is/has snr trained not too sure who he trains etc seen him with the medicine ball on hatton he looks like a bit of an animal.
Looks like snr talks the talk and walks the walk
Think hatton obviously likes to stay with the same guy build a bit of a bond with his trainer etc not too sure but think oscar has chopped and changed in recent times.
However maybe hattons drinking could be a deal breaker dont think you can mess snr about with things like that

Oscar has been with Floyd for about 7 years now. Aside from the Mayweather Jnr fight and that was always pretty much a no can do job.

DLH is getting trained by some mexican I think - I am sure of it - so if its Hatton v ODH there is no problem.

If the fight came off DLH would left him stay with Hatton to drive up the pantomine sale of PPV

I watched 24/7 the other day, and he seemed very, very happy with Nacho Beristain. Also, I've read several interviews where he said that Beristain is the best trainer he's worked with. Although this all sounds like the usual yada yada, there does seem to be something more to it than there was about the enthusiasm surrounding Freddie Roach for the Mayweather fight.
Then again, why on earth, if Nacho is so great, did Oscar have to bring in Angelo Dundee? Who knows, but I do know that Beristain is an all time great trainer, and, in my view, there's nobody better today.
I think that if Oscar wins against the Pac-man Beristain will stay. I think Oscar is kind of hacked off with MAyweather's "I am the greatest" quak-quak and his wage demands in the big fights.
