sounds like this is going to be an entertaining show- good to see grass roots boxing events, too.

yeah, look at the 'opponents' on the bill- Musgrave Greaves Cottier- and they all come in shape and give good value for money :TU:

In fairness to Greaves he is putting on well promoted, good value, entertaining bills, it's great to see.
Most of these shows struggle to break even, people like Carl puts his shirt on the line to get his fighters work, fair play to the bloke

100% agree too. It's ALOT of hard work for him, he looks after his lads

Sort of show people in the locality should make an effort to see, it only really takes one show to make a heavy loss and it kills the promoter.
Shows like these really need peoples support

Absolutely spot on mate.

And if Kev Parker didn't go out of his way to do the preview for feck all, not many would know about it either.

I've been to Carl Greaves' last two promotions in Newark and they're good value for money. Seeing Ben Lawler's army of travelling fans is worth the visit.

Too true - spot on. So then Rhino - you gonna support this show? Cant be much live boxing around sleaford way!
