I'm really tempted to got to Excel or Nottingham, leaning towards Nottingham at the moment purely because of the main event and what I've read about the atmosphere there when Froch fights. What's everyone else doing? Nottingham, London or sofa?

I'll be at Nottingham. Mostly because my brother lives about 30 seconds away from the arena. It is a decent, well-tiered venue, mind. Hopefully it'll be rocking for Froch-Pascal.

Staying in, tune into Froch and watch that first. Prime time, so you'd think Froch will be on pretty much straight from the off. Hopefully it's over by the time the PPV build up subsides, and I can turn over and watch the Comeback Kids.
Set the alarm later, then get up to see the Oscar/Manny massacre

Yes hope so, it's not in their interests to clash, so hopefully Sky aren't that thick about it. Hopefully some Sky bod reads this, cause I think I'll hold off on ordering the PPV until after Froch, then check here and see if main events have started - if not I'll press the button, if they have then I'll look for a stream instead.
I've cancelled Sky sports, but don't mind paying for this decent bill, as I reckon Sky will have had to shell out some for the Oscar fight.

Can't resist the Oscar/Manny fight, even though I think it's a likely mismatch, you have to give it to the Pacman.

Would leave you a bit of time before chatting to Oscar about his pre-fight tactics

Hey don't go there mate!! - had a similar chat today with a certain promoter!!! - if the truth be known mate - if its boxing and I have the added chance of earning a bit of brass to catch up on the mortgage arrears I would do the job!!! - however there is a certain promoter where I would draw the line and say f*ck the money - no chance!!!

Bit harsh Ant, given Enzo vs Banks was on the card still at the time of writing. You can't beat a showdown between two big punchers, especially in the heavier weight classes.

I've just had a look at the set-up on ticketmaster as think I'm going to make the effort to go to Nottingham, but the seating plan only reflects concerts rather than the boxing, so I can't tell what I can for my money - have you (or anyone else who's been to that venue) got any pointers/tips?

Thanks for that fella. I was going to go for outer ringside, but the rows/sections they quoted didn't correspond to the seating plan so I've got no idea as to whether they justify the price. Will be gutted if I drive three hours plus and spend that dosh only for the seats to be a disappointment.

mine were 2nd row outer ringside so there are some decent O/R ones left it seems

I will be at the Excel, and having pre/post beers at the Custom House Hotel.

Still looks like a have a spare Row 1 ticket for sale if anyone fancies buying it at face value.

Deserter: I was at Nottingham for the last Froch fight, and I have to say, the view seemed to be pretty good no matter where you were sat (unless you were Emerson, and sat behind Tim Bradley's massive uncle!) It's a good venue, certainly compared to somewhere like the Excel. I was in the 'premium tiered' seats (£40, if I remember right), and it was a boss view. Managed to move a good few rows down as well, it wasn't as full as ticketmaster were claiming.
