Why Kevin Johnson - isn't a ranked fighter with no chance of winning the whole point of Bonin and Barratt - how many of these does he need to take on.

Arreola looks okay, he'd be a threat of sorts.

He has a nice record, and is someone who won't trouble Haye too much I don't think. Plus they could get him over in the UK to fight - that wouldn't happen with Dimitrenko, thus making that fight unfeesable. And it's always nice to knock out overhyped Yanks.

I agree that Johnson would have been good, possibly a little better, than Barratt for November - I just don't think he is the right path if he is serious about a summer fight with the Klitchsko's.

Regarding Dimitrenko -yes, I know what you mean about not fighting in the UK - but maybe Dimitenko is ambitious enough to break the mold and take on Haye in the 02.... anyway, maybe Haye will be fighting the Klitchsko's in Germany - so maybe he'll need to get used to the German crowd.

I severely doubt Klaus-Peter Kohl will let Dimitrenko (one of his best prospects) come over here for a fight that isn't even for a world title. I also severely doubt that Haye would risk his shot of Vitali/Wlad by coming to Germany. But perhaps I will be wrong.

I agree he would be the best opponent if it can be made. Maybe someone coming off a loss at a crossroads with no fight like Peter, Virchis or Ruiz, if he does a number on any of those his reputation goes through the roof

If Dimitrenko is WBO #1 contender he and his promoters aren't going to risk that. And there's little chance that he would risk his rating, and come to England as well.

Dimitrenko will probably do bugger all, and wait until Wlad gets beaten or hope that Wlad vacates. However long it takes, I would expect nothing more than for Dimitrenko to sit idle on his ranking.

I never rated Dimitremko anyway. He's looked horrid most of his career until he landed that body shot on Krasniqui.

How about Arreola? Exciting, just won a war last night, in a fight that saw him hurt and down. Arreola's quite fat, and he will probably look slow next to Haye. Yes, Arreola has some power and some workrate, but he showed enough vulnerabilities last night...

Wouldn't be a bad 1 Auto but like Dimitrenko he isn't likely to get him

If there is a fight in between the clash with one of the Klitschko's then I can only see it being someone with a similar build to them - I think that rules out Peter and Ruiz. I also can't see Haye travelling to a different country too, so that probably rules out Dimitrenko and Arreola. If I had to go with someone then it would be someone of the ilk of Johnson and Chapman. I may sound stupid here but if Golata's injury heals in the next few months then do you guys think it would be a good barometer for the Klitschko's?

Perhaps even Audley if he gets past Rogan?

Id be happy with any of those. I did think Id be happy with Maskaev but I aint so sure now, as people have pointed out, he is well rated but it would be an easy fight as Maskaev is old and tires quickly now.

People may be suprised that Iv put McCline in there. He's coming off a win, is well rated and is someone who is difficult to KO, he hasn't been properly stopped since Wlad in 2002. Also at 6ft6 he is a big lump too.

im a big fan of haye, but if he wants to fight the best surely he should fight and beat a legit top 5 contender first

cause what is the point of him fighting 'bums' just for a shot, i prefer he fights him and beats him, not just fight him for fighting him sake.

I agree it would be an excellent opponent for Haye, Stu - but getting him out of Germany would cost some serious cash - with the weak dollar expect to see more American imports coming over here to be knocked around. (Like Michael Sprotts last opponent - when was it the last time you saw an American import for a 6 rounder? Probably not since the end of the Lawless/Duff/Barrett cartel)

For sure, and also with Dimitrenko now being no1 WBO there isn't a cat in hells chance of him being put in with anyone risky. He will sit on that ranking and just fight your journeymen until he gets the shot at Wlad.

Peter and McCline have tasted defeat and have that "losers" mentality that Barratt had, so to does Thompson (should he beat Toney).... Toney could be a goer but if he looks good against Thompson can see him going for the big man (Valuev) instead of a warm up for a title.

Yes Arreola would be excellent, think he'd appear to be punching in slow mo with Haye - top ranked by the IBF now, apparently, so very unlikely to take on Haye right now I guess.

Haye would stop him in a minute. And I'm rarely so melodramatic but he's awful.

I know it would'nt happen, but I would like to see him against one of the warren boys in a domestic dust up.

I would like to see him against Audley. If decent Audley decides turn up to use his undoubted skills and not stick his chin out then I think it would be great preperation for the Wlad match up. However, I think Audley would be despatched within 9 rounds.

When is Haye next out?

If Skelton wins the Euro title, then i wouldn't mind seeing him take on Haye
