It's worth a look, Marly Marl.
Be interested to hear your thoughts on both the fight itself and the stoppage.

If you're just looking for the DLZH-Pacquiao fight, try the Bush Inn on the corner of Toorak & Williams Rds in Toorak. If you want to try and catch the Bell-Lovett fight, then try the Inkerman Hotel in Inkerman St St Kilda. No guarantee The Ink won't flick the channel over to the races though after the conclusion of the main event.

very interested to see how people scored this was anyone there and was it different in real compared to video cause i thought lovett was ahead on points
bell was the aggressor but i thought he was hurt or stunned more noticebly when hit by lovett
i know bell was officially winning

i thought Lovett fought off the backfoot for the entire of the fight and really couldn't generate power, thus bell hit him with the harder and more clean shots and IMO was winning the fight.

what rounds
two of the jugdes had it 4-2 1 even
bell was stunned in 1st and sixth and was cut twice if lovett wasnt as tired he may have stopped him
because lovett was so tired it gave a false outlook on the fight and appeared bell was winning comfortable
how did you come up with your decision aggression clean power etc

i watched the fight less than a week ago, he fought of the backfoot the entire fight, Bell was stunned in round 1 from then on i didn't see him hurt, Lovett was eaten clean leather on the ropes almost every round because again he was fighting off the backfoot, fatigue played a big part, but Lovett was fatigued because of the punch output of bell, fighters cut mate, have a look at Mathew Pauley and cuts aren't always caused by Leather. It didn't give a false outlook i seen Lovett fight kane Mackay he didn't fight of the backfoot.

ok so aggression
firstly was there any head clashes dont think so and yes a cut doesnt prove anything
not arguing that he fought off the back foot but that doesnt mean he lost you can still win on the back foot that shows alot of niavety
with the output of punches tim bell throws you have to fight on the back foot heath stenton did it and won
if lovett fought on the back foot against kane they would have fell asleep as kane was very defensive and it felt as though he wanted lovett to get tired and take him into later rounds as his corner kept on saying stick to the plan
lovett dominated first two rounds
you get points for defence too
lovett was ducking under bells punches and catching alot on the gloves
it was only in the later rounds 7 in perticular that bells punches began to get through and lovett was too tired to make him miss
i fight consists of hundreds of exchanges did you score them all or did it look like bell was winning cause he was agressive
IMO lovett won rounds 1-2-4 clearly and had a good case in 6 cause bell was hurt
bell won all other rounds with 7 being very lopsided
houndog scored it 69-64
gerry 67-67 with round 6 even

Oh, your a Judge not a fighter, well that makes sense it's much like a coach that never played the game, your all theory.

your aggression proves a low iq
if you read your post you are the one closed minded
this is a discussion forum so why are you so upset
one of the jugdes on the night scored it the same
i agree that both will faulter on world scale due to lack of speed
i simply asked how it was scored to see how people on this forum score fights
facts are facts and if the theory adds up it must be right
in my original post i asked if it looked different on the night in real time to on video as you can replay and discect a fight alot better
i have seen many fights live that i thought someone dominated easily but only to watch the fight on replay and think otherwise
i agree 100% with what you say bout having an opinion on fighting if never done so
because this is not a discussion but through posts you cannot tell my tone and it was never an attack i really wanted to talk boxing and learn
but seriosly you are the one that posted it and i merely pointed out that i thought it was not right
you should have responded to the post correctly as alot of people on here post before reading what they are responding to

lets take a breath. you both have very good points. no need to bring this down to Boxa's level.

Mate if you going to insult someone continuously like in your in first post (Naive), then take what i said and turn into your words IE scorecard 69-64, now this is my favorite one the IQ crack. Your very diplomatic.
This coming from a man that doesn't know when a sentence starts or finishes, how to apply a full stop, comma or capital letter at the beginning of sentence so we can follow what you are trying to say. Yeah i can see how you can sit in your corner judging on people' intelligence.
Your on Boxa' forum and so far with all your posts not just on this thread your very antogonizing.

I thought it was a fairly close fight, Lovett looked tired from the second round on.
Bell was hurt a couple of times but Lovett couldnt finish him.
I think in a rematch he would win. I think his mates death really shook him up and he would have been better off postponing the fight.
I didnt really score it but there wasnt much between them IMO opinion at the time of the stoppage.
Being on the front foot or back foot makes no diffrence to the scores.
