Not that I am expecting Sky to do the "right" thing and not make it a Sky box office event following the cancellation of the two main fights on the UK bill, but what happens if DLH fails to make the weight - Roach is adamant that it is fight off.

What if HBO keep the undercard - which is decent as a non PPV? or what will happen to the UK bill, surely it cannot be scraped based on the weights in the states - and surely Sky will not have the nerve to charge 15 quid for just Khan vs light punching Fagan.

I know we have had a last minute change of opponent before (Lewis vs Johnson was originally going to be a PPV), but have we had any last minute cancellations/posponements?

There is an agreement that De La Hoya will pay $3m per pound (lbs) if he comes in over the weight.

If DLH comes in at 150 - Manny has no chance. No way will Sky ditch the PPV. Only idiots would pay for it prior to fight night anyway.

Okay if DLH is a couple of pounds over, but what happens if he is like 154 and Pacquiao is something like 142 - will even the $3 million per pound stand up.... maybe the commision will not sanction such a match.

DLH loves money too much to come in that overweight, in fairness he has always been a model pro, 147 gves him plenty of advantages and I expect him to come in on the button

Hard to believe, but DLH was supposed to be down to 145 a week or two ago. Whether that's true and whether he's maintained it, is another matter. Pac was reported to be 151 a few days ago.

Be amazed if ODLH is overweight. Long training camp, seasoned (and disciplined) pro who has never had weight problems in his career - well, apart from looking flabby against Sturm. He'll be fine.

Dela Hoya was on weight after that 12 round sparring session in 24/7 a week and a half ago.

I hardly think a pro like him is going to have a sudden bout of weakness and go wild on tacos and Newcastle Brown.

I'm not suggesting DLH will not be anything but proffesional, but the guy hasn't fought at 147 in years and was, according to many people, alot more than 150 in his last fight which was originally signed for 147.

DLH will bust a gut trying, but can he do 147? There seems to be a 10 pound differences in what his weight is now, depending on what you read.

The only instance I can recall when a PPV came close to being cancelled is when Mike Tyson pulled out at the eleventh hour against Clifford Ettienne before changing his mind. SKY are never going to pull a PPV. It's down to the punters to take a stand.

For those that care. 24/7 episode 3 has Oscar's weight at the time of filming last week. I can spoil it for you if you like. It's below in grey/blue text.

If it's not some kind of trick and Oscar really does weigh 147lbs already then that doesn't bode well for Manny. I personally can't see Manny winning at all but his only chance, for me, was if Oscar had badly struggled with the weight, but it looks like he hasn't.

My only concern, Dioufy, is that you don't see it's Oscar on the scales. But if it's true Pacman is gonna lose, and I had a feeling he might impress before that.

Apparently Oscar's been on weight for 2 weeks now.

If he really has been on weight for a week or two, will he have been strong enough to train properly? We shall see.
