After watching Pacman brutalise Oscar last night, i really cant wait to see this fight next year.....just think Hatton v Pacman(the best fighter in boxing) at Wembley...It blows all other British fights out of the water...can anyone think of a better British fight??? 90-000 fans packing out the stadium...you cant beat it!

But who would win?? Obviously Manny would start as favourite but last night he faced an aging, weight drained punchbag who was sloooow(Ive always been an Oscar fan, sad to see) Hatton would get inside and rough him up, he would be far faster than Oscar and throw punches....Manny isnt always the best when he has punches coming back!!! If Hatton moves his head like he did against PM then he stops Manny using his head as target practice...its an intriguing fight...

So lets get it on....

Pacman too fast for Ricky. Would be a 140 LB'er also, which Manny would benefit from. Hatton's Malignaggi win has false connotations i'm afraid. Still too easy to catch flush, and Pac won't miss. Even money from the books, and i know where my dough is going.

Pacquiao too quick, and dare I say - to strong. The man is getting stronger as he moves up the weights. I mean, he looked "dodgy" in the chin against Flyweight and Super Bantams - so much so that most experts predicted Barrera to walk all over him in their first meeting.

Against Diaz and now Oscar at 147... it seems the punches are bouncing off him. He seems to be made of steel. Just has too much everything for Ricky, as impressive as Ricky was last time.

Agreed. Had no interest in Oscar vs Ricky but this would be a brilliant fight. Topped only by Pacman versus Floyd.

Will be big, no doubt. Pac obviously the better fighter, but Hatton will have a size advantage. Yes Oscar had one last night, but it was a case of Manny beaing good and Oscar being bad on that night. Pac would be favored no doubt.

PACMAN 4/11 TO SEE OFF HITMAN

Manny Pacquiao is odds-on with Ladbrokes to beat Ricky Hatton after his impressive victory over Oscar De La Hoya.

The Hitman had been lining up a bout with De La Hoya in the UK next year until the 35-year-old was battered in eight rounds by Pacquiao.

Pacquiao, who came up three weight classes in eight months to fight for his biggest purse, is 4/11 to beat Hatton with the popular Mancunian available at 2/1.

Ladbrokes spokesman Robin Hutchison said: "Pacquiao ended De La Hoya's career on Saturday night and we fully expect him to end Hatton's too."

After that I fancy Pac-man to batter him in an epic, probably around the 10th.

I can not wait.......I reckon we all go together on a big bus and watch it :)

Pacman all the way now he's proven he can handle the size, he's the better boxer, faster, and may hit harder, it a no brainer now

Are we on about the same Pacquiao who was fortunate to get a decision over Juan Manuel Marquez at super feather?

I think there is a bit of a overreaction to Pacquiao beating up on a bloke who stood in from of him and threw nothing back!

Juan Manuel Marquez is the best 'boxer' in the sport today. He also has the best counter right-hand in the sport. Pacquiao will always have absolute nightmares with someone as astute and clever as Marquez.

Ricky Hatton ain't Juan Manuel Marquez. He ain't even Raul Marquez in the slickness stakes.

Yes we are style's make fights and Marquez is a great counter puncher, Hatton is not, some were also picking Marquez to beat Hatton

So Marquez is the best boxer in the sport today and not Pacquiao :??

I think Marquez beat Pacquiao both times.

Come on mate, DLH is a legend, his last fight was a victory and the one before that was a narrow loss to Mayweather, who would be p4p king if not for retirement (though I reckon he will be back in 2009)

Pacquiao is just too good, he's a force of nature.....I can't see Hatton beating him or anyone in the weights below.

To call Oscar SHOT, when most on here had him to beat Pac, is unfair.

Next may on sky box office it will be. Manny wins a split decision.

Hatton does not even deserve to share a ring with him.
Its all about lining his own pockets now.
Did you see his chubby face light up at even the mention of it???

Hattons fought the weakest 2 people possible over the last year I dont see why he should be given another chance.

Probably. As great as Pacquiao is, there have been fighters in the past who have found a way past him. I thought Erik Morales boxed his ears off in their first fight and I think Marquez did similar in their second fight.

Did Manny go on to destroy Morales because he improved and figured Erik out? Or was it because Morales suddenly grew 'old'? Personally I think it's the latter and that Morales wasn't half the force he was in their first fight.

I'm not taking anything away from Pacquiao, though. Last night was a stunning win. Last night + his shock first victory over Barrera is enough to elevate him to greatness. He's definitely the greatest offensive force of the noughties.
