Sentanta has a deal with Sauerland I thino so It will be on there.

I think that deal starts in 2009 - don't think this is on anywhere. I don't want to see it myself.

valuev - ruiz 2 was shown on nuts tv ( channel 196 on sky) so maybe they'll show this freakshow

Freakish Russian Nikolai Valuev defends his WBA heavyweight title against American veteran Evander Holyfield in a mismatch in Zurich, Switzerland, on December 20.
The 7ft Valuev, who weighs in at 23 stone, takes on a former cruiserweight who stands just 6ft 2ins and weighs 15 stone. Worse, Holyfield is 46 years old, has not won a fight since June 2007 and is obviously, clearly, blatantly, horribly, undeniably, irrefutably, totally past his best.
He is finished.
Christmas comes early for the 35-year-old Valuev, 49-1 (34), but the rest of us have to sweat over the outcome and the course of this one before we can sit down to the turkey. Valuev, known as "The Beast from the East", looks a much-improved fighter from the rather lumbering giant outfoxed and outpointed by Hamburg's Ruslan Chagaev in April 2007 in Germany, for his only defeat. He took on trainer Alexander Zimin afterwards, a fellow Russian, and has picked up three solid wins with an impressive and surprising blend of skill, stamina and aggression (including a thumping left jab), although his major strength is still just that, his major strength. He also still knows how to intimidate. Given his obvious improvement and everything else, Valuev might just be right at his peak.
It all contrasts painfully with the Holyfield story, a man with only one fight to show for the last 18 months and none at all this year so far. Evander lost that one fight, too: another Russian, Sultan Ibragimov, outscored him over 12 rounds in October 2007 in Moscow. Ibragimov is small, smart, a boxer type. He was content to outbox Holyfield.
One hopes Valuev is content to do the same.

This really is a horrible fight. Even Valuev himself, and one of his Russian trainers, admitted they didn't want it when it was first talked about a few months back. Cynical matchmaking, trading off a legends' name it almost belongs in the recent Jeff Fenech-Azumah Nelson III category with regards to bad taste.

Yeah, a bit like when a couple of years ago Joe Calzaghe said he wouldn't "touch" Roy Jones because he was too shot.

Almost tempted to bet on Holyfield. Valuev struggled with Ruiz and Larry Donald. Maybe Holyfield could hit and hold his way to an upset. 6/1 is worth a bet I think.

Even if Evander wins, I couldnt put his win over Foreman's win against Moorer. If he does win, he should A) retire, or B) fight Chagaev for undisputed WBA title, then retire. Its only right.

Like everybody else who follows this sport, i wish Hollyfield would hang them up. But i wish him one last hurrah this Saturday evening, i hope he lands the bingo punch and slays the beast from the east. I cant be bothered with Valuev at all!

I actually like Valuev so I hope he wins this one. Just imagine how much more deluded Holyfield might become as well if he actually pulled it off and won a belt... The mind boggles.

To be honest, I'm not even interested in the result, let alone pursuing the chance to watch it live on TV.

To be honest I've stopped caring about whether Holyfield retires or not, this saga has been going on for about 5 or 6 years now. In fact people wanted him to retire even before he fought Tyson which was over ten years ago. What is annoying is the fact that he keeps getting title shots. That's just an absolute joke.

Anyone who watches this should be ashamed. Someone needs to stop Holyfield from fighting.

As far as I know, you can only get it with one of those motorised satellites.

Nuts isn't dead yet, but it is not on its schedules.

Watch out for Sky Sports though, Sky sports news are talking about this fight alot. Nothing yet, but we all know they only talk about their own fights, and they are giving it as much coverage as the bill tonight.

Don't Joke mate, I can see that fight happening.

I just hope Evander doesn't get badly hurt.

The WBC may fine or DQ Sugar Shane Mosley after court documents revealed that Mosley testified that he injected himself with the performance enhancing substance EPO before his second fight with Oscar De La Hoya in 2003. Mosley seized both the WBC and WBA super middleweight titles held by De La Hoya in that bout. "It was a real surprise to read that Mosley has confessed that he did take those medicines, those drugs that are totally prohibited by the WBC," WBC president Jose Sulaiman told the NY Daily News. "The WBC rules state that we must have a hearing. This is a matter of serious concern to us." The WBC legal counsel is currently gathering evidence on Mosley to present to the WBC Board of Governors. Nothing personal, I'm just not into the 'Bigfoot & The Hendersons' look. Having said that, I suppose it gives the ladies something to grab onto for a bit of leverage...

Fact is those hairy shoulders are the most outstanding thing about Valuev.
