If they do make a movie, I would price it a 1/100 shot that it ends with him doing a life sentence or in a coffin.

Yeah was interesting to see, though it's daft that someone who actualy knows the first thing about boxing couldn't so the same thing that this intrepid doc maker did ( he seemed to think that Scot was on the verge of becoming one of the boxing world's All Time Greats )

Looks like time has run out for Harrison, tragic really - the board of control aren't doing him ANY favours either...maybe he used up all their good will some time back....

Harrison was good, world class at times, but great is so far fetched it's untrue. He wouldn't have beaten any of the premier boxers. Scraping a draw with Polo (very fortuante) and getting mastered by a faded Medina put it all into perspective.

His best days are surely gone now. Any come back would most likely end in him falling some way short of reaching world class level. Its sad to say it, but after watching that documentary, i think, for his own sanity, he has to come back. He needs closure, and that is something that he will likely never get, even if he does box again.

Its tragic to see a top level boxer fall in the way Harrison has. He was great for British boxing and he gave me many great nights in front of the tv. I miss the guy fighting. I hope he can sort his life out and find some peace within himself.

To be fair he looked in good nick on the documentary and focused when training. It however looks like that Spanish incident was his undoing and he has no chance of getting a licence with that hanging over him.

It was a sad documentary...but on a positive note I remember some top performances from Scott.

My favourite was seeing him fight back at Madison Square Garden very early on in his career against former champ Tracy Harris Patterson, he showed great resolve.

Next best performance was his win against Chacon for me, he boxed excellently.

Also like seeing the old school clips of him training running up the highlands, like they showed last night but he used to do it with rocks, a real test of fitness and desire.

I thought it was sincerely put together, neither tried to over dramatise his failings nor try too hard to provide some sort of pseudo-analysis.

Harrison has obviously behaved like a complete cock but the programme offered a balanced perspective. What I've never understood is why he didn't just bugger off and fight from out of the US?

Would he have been able to travel?

The underspoken tale in the piece, for me, was the fact Harrison hasn't faced up to his demons and is transfering the focus of the blame to the BBBofC.

Thats what has been going through my mind, could he not have just fought abroad? Perhaps his pending court cases were preventing him from doing that?
