He usually used it in reference to old Merv Williams on TV Ringside, but it rings true for a lot of fighters.

I agree, Hatton will be to strong for Pacman in my opinion. The DeLahoya fight flattered Pac and any top 15 welter would have stopped Oscar that night.

The Hatton that beat Tszyu would easily account for Pac, Tszyu would have easily accounted for Pac.

Fenech picked Green to beat Mundine as well....

Green needed to fight the way he did against Beyer in the first fight. Full on aggression. Thats the only way he can beat Mundine.

OK, fenech picked Elomar to beat Willie, when no one else did, but i remember him also saying that Green would never win a world title with Ismael Salas. Green did win the full version of the WBA L/H.
He's kind of hit and miss, and i tend to lean towards Brute' comments,"Old pugs make poor judges.".

i agree with him, the hatton that beat tszyu would crush pac.
but that hatton is no more, thats what makes this fight a very even one imo

TBH I hope you are right, but i think otherwise.

Geale hasnt shown me anything to suggest he should be in the ring with Choc, Sakio or King Soliman. He gets beaten against all of these guys, just in different ways. Sakio would KO him badly, choc and King by decision...IMO

The Hatton of that day wins - maybe, Hatton of now, I don't think so. But we'll see.

its obvious your a big geale fan but i think your gona be dissapointed next month cause i really think soliman is gona show him up big time. and bika is a wrecking machine he would do to geale what he did to manfredo but thats just my opinion.

PacMan too fast and too slick for Hatton. Ricky parties too much between fights and isn't a KO artist any more. Interesting fight, though.
