Betting 2009 Specials

On Sky Bet under sports specials > boxing specials, are some good value bets returning 50%. The only problem is having the cash tied up for a year:
In 2009:
Darren Sutherland to be unbeaten as pro (Minimum 4 fights) 6/4.
The same odds for DeGale & Gavin. Saunders is 7/4. I believe that the bet is void if the fighter does not have 4 fights.

That is VERY tempting. Most Olympians at that stage are usually hurried along, so I can see them moving past 4 fights this year. That is, if injury doesn't get them.

It's cracking value in IMO, Warren & Maloney should get them fighting regular against limited opposition. Got it off the Betfair forum, think the maximum bet is £133 per boxer. Won't be having a go though 'cause haven't got the money to be tied up for a year :(

I cannot find these bets - looked at both boxing and sports specials - and there seem to be no boxing specials at this point.
Can anyone else find them? Have they been pulled?

When you goto Sports Specials, next to the Venus Williams bet should be a small blue '+' symbol. Click on that to get all the bets...crap site really, had me fooled too

Thanks mate. They seem to have put them all live and clearly now.
There are other specials - can't see any value there except the ones you point. There is an odd one:
E Maccarenelli to fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship 10/1
Hmmm I have heard Enzo actually does train in Jiu Jitsu but still...

Cheers mate got on Sutherland at 6/4 this morning. Been told it is 11/10 now.

Be interesting to see if you can put multiples on this
ie get odds on all 4 of them to stay unbeaten for the year (providing they all have 4+ fights.)

Unfortunately you can't, and like chris s said they are all at 11/10 now.
Good value while it lasted though

Seems remarkably good value. Even at 11/10 it is good value.
Just to add- it would be very easy to hedge these bets too, too. You could probably get at least 10-1 on their opponents nearer the fight. So if you say have £100 on this you can bet £10 on the opponent- if the opponent wins then you have coved your losses. Only risk is doing that and they don't have 4 fights.

Never thought of that...good idea

although may have to cover the draw in a four rounder but that would be about 30-1.

Would you even need to cover the draw? If the bet is that the boxer is "unbeaten" then you don't need to- IE if Sutherlands fights 4 draws then you win the bet.

The worry is that if it gets to , say, September and the boxer is on his third fight- will he have a 4th by Christmas?
The cynic in me says that they are hoping this will be the case, and are doing it to get some cash flow right now.. next year seems a long way away!
But one of these guys losing? I just can't see that happening at all.

If the fights are on Sky then it is a gimme 'cause I reckon Frank has got lots of dates to fill.
Only injury can scupper it really.

The more I think about this, the more it seems unlikely that they will get four fights this year. Just have "a feeling" . If that is the case, any more spent on this bet is basically like an interest free loan to them for a year.

Just had a look and I can't find them :??
However there is a James DeGale bet they should check the wording of. It's under World Champion but the actual bet says:
'Win any WBC, WBA, IBF or WBO Belt (09:00)
James Degale ( before end of 2011) 6/1'
Note the use of the word 'any' for belt...so this could be the 'international' title
