can anyone advise me on what is involved when you have your Professional Boxing Medical i.e what tests, what it cost?

Full physical medical - blood pressure, pulse rate, listern to breath (lungs), listern to heart, basic co ordination, balance (eg stand on one leg with eyes shut), MRI and brain scan, full eyesight. Think thats it. Think cost including scans, medical about £300 and eye test about £20, (might not be spot on about the cost)

Also HIV test and hepititus jabs, costs can vary, you will def get the whole lot done for 500 quid, the local board doctor did my medical for free, my GP gave me a free hep jab, and I had a Opthalmic optician who was a pal who did that for free.
Also you needed a one off MRA scan along with your annual MRI scan, the board used to give you £100 towards the scan
