So the draw will be made shortly to determine who will be fighting who in the last 8 of this Heavyweight tournament...
After two rounds of group stages, we now move on to a straight KNOCKOUT competition... Winner goes through, loser goes home.

Muhammad Ali vs Sonny Liston: Ali wins by UD, not by KO this time....Liston in his prime was very good.

George Foreman vs Mike Tyson: Tyson is too small for Big George...I see a Foreman vs Frazier I and II all over again. Foreman by KO in 4 rounds

Larry Holmes vs Jack Dempsey: Holmes wins by UD...He outboxes the "Manassa Mauler" but had some troubles during the fight.

Joe Louis vs Jack Johnson: Johnson wins by UD.

Liston was old. He wasn't shot, but he'd been inactive for some time leading upto a bout where neither man was at his peak (Ali a little closer to his, though).
