If you could promote a bill in 2009

Just a bit of fun but if you could be a promoter for a night in 2009, what kind of card would you make - as its a British forum, make it an all British affair. One main event then six-seven undercard fights

My choice:

Venue: Millenium stadium Cardiff (I just think the atmosphere here is incredible and the streets before and after are buzzing)

Main event: Joe Calzaghe v Carl Froch at a catchweight Who wouldnt want to see this? Joe in a final farewell in what might be the toughest fight of his life.

Undercard:

Ricky Hatton v Junior Witter at light welter The clamour for the fight may have died down but I think the style clash would make for an entertaining bout.
David Haye v Audley Harrison at heavy Yes I know.... but come on everyone loves a KO and everyone loves Audley really........
Kell Brook v Michael Jennings at Welter Brook is a serious prospect and Jennings the best British welter right now (pre cottto beating) and I really could not predict a winner here - a real pick em fight
John Murray v Amir Khan at lightweight Khan has avoided Murray but now he has lost, he would be desperate to make amends and show his talent. Murray would love to de-rail the Khan road show once and for all. I think Khan would win but he would have to be at his very best
Kevin Mitchell v Nicky Cook at super feather Mitchell is a great fighter and what better way for him to challenge for a world title than by taking on Alex Arthurs conqueror? Cook would fancy retaining here and Mitchell may never have as big an opportunity again.
Enzo Mac v Herbie Hide at cruiser Crazy Hide will always stand a chance against Enzo because of his punch, Enzo should win this but I would make the fight just so I could see Hides pre fight press conferences!
Paul Appleby v Martin Lindsay at feather One fight thats actually happening. Two bangers that are young, unbeaten and ambitious. What a cracker.

Imagine this bill on a summer's day, all day saturday with the main event at night. Awesome! I'd add David Barnes Vs. Gavin Rees somewhere down at the bottom, think it would be a good clash of styles making a good fight and as it's in Cardiff Rees is a local lad.

I was going to write my list out, but you've nailed it pretty much word for word (although I'd swap Audley for Vitali)

So it had a bit of a storyline I would have allegedly (Britains No1 promoter) fighters vs the rest.

In weight order (Warren fighters 2nd):

Haye Vs Skelton
Hide Vs Enzo
Fry Vs Cleverly
Barker Vs Paul Smith
J Moore Vs Pryce
Rhodes Vs Small
Daws Vs Rees
Murray Vs Khan
Johanneson Vs Foster
Hunter Vs Marsh

I predict a 5-5 draw :box:
