For the Commonwealth belt on February 28th.

This has the potential to be a real brawl!

I will be surprised if Rogan gets past the fourth round.

I reckon the same if Skelton is on form. But he seemed to lack his usual focus and drive in the Sprott rematch so you can't count out Rogan lasting a few more rounds if that Skelton shows up.

Yes, will be interesting to see Skelton's state of mind 'cause this is a step down in class.

Actually call me a cynic, but just seen the bill and I would not be surprised to see a late Skelton pull out with Rogan Vs TBA for the vacant Commonwealth title...I guess TBA = Pele Reid :-?

If anything, I feel it might be Rogan who pulls out, especially as his last fight was only a month ago, but that said, let's be optomistic! Its a decent bill, with three well matched looking fights, but a couple of pull outs and...

its a goodfight

skelton could fight Samil Sam after ...thats a virtual world title eliminator

or even skelton v sosnowski would be fun

ive got nothing against these fights and they might bring out the best in Matt

it was Sprott who wrecked the second fight

and bob mirovitz/danny williams 1 were wars !!!!

give Matt his dues...what he's done is extraordinary

Can't stand Skelton and his brand of "fighting". Hope he loses.

Rogan is a flash in the pan imo...just a low level version of Carlos Baldomir.

Undoubtedly.

He is European Champion and should be aiming higher than this.
Rogan is still a "prospect" in comparison.

Still, it could be entertaining!

Skelton fights the only way he knows how to. Surely thats better than AH. He may not fight pretty but he does fight with heart and guts.

Isn't this a standard sort of defence for a European champion? Most don't fight anyone decent unless it is a mandatory defence.

He isn't defending his European belt is he?

I can't see Rogan jumping so many places on the back of a close win over Fraudley.

It's a decewnt keep busy fight, but time isn't exactly on Skelton's side. He could get another World Title shot if he pushes it.

Martin Rogan is No.17 in the rankings for the European title, so the title should be on the line.

What was the point of winning the title, if he is not going to defend it?

I think that he is better off keeping busy, instead of getting messed around waiting for an eliminator etc.

The only reason i can think of for the ebu being on the line is that they arent as confident of winning as a lot of people.
Can anyone think of another reason?
