The
World Boxing Empire (WBE) is a boxing sanctioning body founded in 2001, then under the name World Boxing Syndicate (WBS). Its inaugural title fight took place in Annandale, Virginia, on March 9, 2002, between Mitch Green and Danny Wofford. On October 20, 2005, the WBE partnered with the
United States Boxing Council (USBC). Since December 19, 2007, the WBE officially signed agreement that incorporated it with the
World Professional Boxing Federation (WPBF). THE WBE & USBC IS NOW PART OF THE WORLD PROFESSIONAL BOXING FEDERATION. PLEASE VISIT THE WPBF&USBC OFFICIAL SITE AT:

Ah the irony................what's the betting this very same poster is back in 18 months to defend the 3 "Olympians" (er...note to your boss qualifying for the Olympics but not participating does not make you an Olympian) as they fight on a massive night of PPV boxing with all 3 challenging for vacant interim intercontinental WBEWPBFUSBC titles.

Yeah, whoever wrote this is obviously involved with the organisation, as they've just posted this one message on each of the boards, and nothing else. They're actually proud of Green v Wofford!

Ignore the naysayers, this is oustanding news. For so long the WBE has been the epitomy of integrity and fairness. Tye Fields was formerly their heavyweight champion which puts to bed any questions over their authenticity.

Steve689 is the Don of these dodgy bodies.
I know most of you won't regularly read Eric Armit's stuff on BBN but he always comes out with some cracking stuff that nobody else does about the sanctioning bodies. See his latest for the shock news that the WBO actually turned down a fee!

I think the fact that a few years later nobody knows what these sanctioning bodies have done or what they are doing or who held there titles actualy gives the attitude people took a bit of credibilty tbh

World titles are only worth to the holders whether thats WBC or IBF or BIBA or MBC. A real fan does not care the title anymore. I am more interested in whos fighting who rather than whats on offer.
I did see a photo on my facebook page of some kids holding their dads MBC International belt, those kids seemed over the moon with their dad a champion. Says it all really a belt is precious to the holder. No matter what commisioning body governs who fights who.
Good luck to all the world champions and those forgotten boxers who hold belts.

I put it through Google Translate and this once proud website is now hosting instructions on how Japanese housewives can borrow money with out their husbands knowledge.
"Housewife for card loan information sharing ※ same day borrowing surgery without telling husband"
A better use of bandwidth or a shocking desecration of a noble institution? You decide...
