That may well be so but your stance still defies logic in my opinion. They are professional boxers and deserve recognition either as Bridgerweights, or if that division isn't worthy of consideration, then as Heavyweights. They haven't simply vanished from the sport.

That's my two penn'orth anyway, I shall say no more except to ask you how their preferences were made known? Did the WBC ask for volunteers and these fighters responded, and if so, how were you made aware?

Sorry if I'm being annoying.

Put them in heavyweight, its not a wrong division... Are they pro boxers? Yes.>>Do they fight at over 200lb?Yes>>Then They are heavyweights. done.
WBC recognise them as bridgers, thats fine, WBC is wrong.

Very strange to not rate guys that haven't officially competed in a division that only one major commission recognizes when they can easily be categorized as Heavyweights.

WBC doesn't even list the division on their rankings.

Until yesterday you can see the date of birth of all the fighters if you click on their profile, why that information can no longer be seen? should reappea, it makes no sense that they have deleted it, the information is incomplete now.

Good day.

I would like to suggest that boxers who last fought in 2019 should not be listed as inactive as most countries were on lockdown last year. Lockdown made it difficult for boxers to fight last year and punishing boxers for that is unfair.

Great job on the new "Champion" page but I think it misses some infos (as difficult it can be updating all that mess).

I would suggest Canelos picture should be displayed as Boxrec #1 in Light-Heavyweight and Middleweight categories on the champions page. If the boxrec title is a the man that beat the man type of championship designation I think it should display Alvarez as hes beaten the man in 3 divisions. If he losses a fight, then that guy becomes "The Man" in whatever division the fight is fought in, and the other weight classes can then go to the next best guy (Unified champ, or holder with best quality of record or boxrec points) or vacate. Just doesn't seem right clicking champions and seeing a pic of Kovalev as the man at 175 when he's coming off a KO loss and hasn't fought since... Not having the champions table with each fighters picture takes away the old feeling of seeing a row of one fighters face over-and-over, as clear visual dominance of who runs that division. Apologize if this has already been addressed

the boxrec titles arent the man who beat the man and a fighter can only be ranked in 1 division on boxrec

Hi .. Do you know sofifa? There ratings are given to soccer players. I think, it would be good to add search options similar to those that this site has. I would suggest adding the option to search for boxers by year of birth and to classify them in an age range. Can they do it in Boxrec?

It would be great to see the best under-25, under-23, under-20, or the best of those born in a specific year in the world according to an algorithm. They can do it?

I wonder if you could keep the daily results posted for a little longer? With my time zone, I often go to the results on the evening of any said day and 'results' have already moved on to the next day. Still today where I am, these results have already moved on to historical record.

Keeping the results on the page for another 24 hours ought to do it.

Thanks

On the champions page, if you click on a championship you should be taken to the page that shows the historical lineage of that title.

So if you clicked on "World Boxing Association World Heavy", you would be taken to: https://boxrec.com/en/title/41/Heavyweight

Also, while you should keep the divisions in order, the belts within each divison should be ordered by oldest first, since generally speaking, the older a title, the more prestigious. At the moment, the IBO heavyweight title (founded in 1993) is listed before the WBA heavyweight title (founded in 1964).

I don't know if this is the same for everyone or just a glitch, but if I'm logged-on to the forum and I want to jump to the records database I find I'm not logged-on there, and I if I want full access I need to log-on again.

It's hardly a massive issue but it seems an unnecessary irritation which I could do without.

I don't think it makes any difference. Even using the forum it remembers me for a bit and then it forgets and I have to log-on again. It occurred to me that it might happen when I switch between devices but it doesn't seem to be that either.
