How good is this guy? Seems to have won his first two well enough, but talk of World Championships ....? I'll be keen to see him progress, but I just have a feeling that is he moves too fast at some point reasonably soon he will come unstuck.

But yeah- how far do you think this lad can go?

genuine prospect - great handspeed, good chin, good attitude, ok power.

It's too hard for me to evaluate his potential based on his first two professional bouts, but I think he looks promising. Good hand speed, great attitude, good power and great size. I don't know what his chin is like yet. Provided his chin is fine, the next questions are about stamina and heart. I think he picks his punches well. I liked the way he used the uppercut to deter Zeller from getting too close.

yes and he threw it brilliantly as zeller was coming in, it didnt look like a fighter in his 2nd pro fight

He threw some of those punches with venom.

THat was one thing I worried about - what do we know about his chin ad I'm not sure I've seen him take a punch

I think if there were doubts about his chin, they would have found someone to fight that didn't have 20 KO's in 21 wins.

In this division, I think ANYONE half decent is a world title prospect. I wouldn't be surprised if he could beat the likes of Valuev right now, if it was the same Valuev that showed up against Evander "So shot his holes absorb water in the bath tub" Holyfield.

I am interested to see if he continues to be matched in this way.

After 2 fights Fury is looking a decent prospect, needs to work on his left hook, as i can't remember him throwing one last night. He does go to the body well though, something alot of heavys don't do.
We won't know about the chin until someone clocks him one, so time will tell on that.
He has fast hands for such a big guy, and good attitude.

Ticked all the boxes for me. Used the jab effectively, great uppercuts, good bodywork and admitted he needed to work on his stamina, which may have been a danger as he could have punched himself out here. A fascinating prospect and let's hope he is matched as well in the future (but not overmatched too soon!)

Was my first look at him so when I saw the shape of him with his skinny arms and legs and blubbery waist I wasn,t expecting much
but I have to say I was really impressed
I,d actually pick him to beat Harrison right now but at just 21 I hope they don,t rush him to quickly.

He's a talent BUT his old man puts far too much pressure on him..They are saying he's the best heavyweight in the world already..

He's quick got decent power BUT lacks STAMINA..He needs to do more mileage on the road it's that simple..

If he does this then he'd have a chance..

Would like to see him fight Lee Swaby in his net 5 or so fights. He always comes to fight and he gave that Butron dude a bit of trouble as I recall

Undoubtedly a prospect. Was very impressed with him last night; for someone with his size he has great speed and good moevement. He also showed plenty of variety in his shots. For someone in only his 2nd pro fight the lad showed plenty of potential. When you think about the likes of Williams, Sprott and Harrison as the supposed best domestic prospects in recent years, it illustrates how crap the division was - so sluggish, slow and uninspiring. If this lad can get super fit, athletic and keep developing he could be the best we've had in a long time. But time will tell. As for his chin, well at HW a good shot takes most fighters out, so lets see how his defence develops.

His father was a talented boxer and from what I hear one of the best bare knuckle fighters.

Hype imo.

Too soon to tell, seems to have good speed and physical strengh but probably needs to work on general fitness and build up stamina.

I have got to say after being critical of his debut I was impressed with his fight against the German - he has a good range of shots and unlike the Audley Harrisons of this world, Fury wants to fight and isn't "shot shy" or "negative" - but its like anything in the heavyeweight ranks - whats he going to be like when he is put under pressure?

However I honestly believe that was impressive last night - lets get behind him and see how he progresses.

He reminds me of a bigger version of Enzo Maccarinelli. Solid prospect. Seems a like a genuinely likeable guy, too, which won't hurt.

World champion's a bit of a stretch, though. This is the thing I hate about boxing sometimes. We'll now have to wait a good 15-20 more fights before he even contemplates fighting someone like Michael Sprott. All the while we'll be told that he's the future of boxing and a guaranteed world heavyweight champion.

Nobody has a clue what this guy's going to do yet. Let's just wait and see.

It's impossible to say with the Heavyweights 'cause there are so many obstacles.

His stamina might be a doubt for me when he goes into 12 rounders against guys that don't get knocked out. But he will probably learn to pace himself more.

I have doubts he could establish himself at World Class but he could probably beat Valuev in a year or so

Have to agree - but you have to be pleased with that fight last night.

I did have a laugh at Hennessy's summing up of Fury!!! - for f*ck sake "Meaty" give the lad a chance before putting such lofty praise on his shoulders!!!

Furys a good Prospect and can Fight plus He is Fresh, didnt have to many in the Amatuers. One to watch.

He needs a good 2-3 years of learning. Looks very raw, throws his punched too wide. In the programme he was saying he wants to be British champions this year - forget it. He needs to be told he has lots to learn.

As long as they keep him busy, not just waiting around for TV dates, he needs a fight in the next 5-6 weeks.

He's certainly getting the build up by ITV isn't he? They didn't do much to get us into Murray v McAllister. With Murray and Fury, will Hennessy be putting on any fights in Manchester?
