I never believe in money as a valid reason. 'I wanted $3.3m, but they only offered 2.8; that's an insult.'

Before the Witter nuthuggers get on here(the main reason he is unpopular with hatton fans) its hould be a 50-50 split as Pacman brings the no1 ranking..Hatton brings the belt and a massive following...

Pacman is a either greedy or trying to get out of it..the renagining on an agreement like this is an INSULT. Thats the reason Hatton is saying no. When you are a world star you dont expect to be treated like a punk...

Pacman can go and fight someone else...Hatton will fill out a big arena if he fought me,,,Ricky wont be losing any sleep!!

I wonder if Pacman is worried that the elite fighter was due to face isnt past his best...would be a bit of a change for manny

pac may be a greedy sod.

Never had much interest in this fight.

Hatton will just fight someone smaller/older or crap or even all 3!

but surely your happy with the rumoured replacement.

for me marquez will beat diaz.

and marquez was well unlucky in both pac fights. :witzend:

thought he won both tbh.

No more effin lightweights!

Try Clottey or Judah?

Pathetic if it is MArquez or Diaz...

Hatton lost the Pacman fight!

Take the short money (man of the people)and make him pay in the Ring!

Its a effing credit crunch and Hatton wants us all to travel AND those who don't travel must pay to watch him for £15.00?

Nah!

If this fight really doesn't come to fruition because of Pacquiao, I can only think that he doesn't fancy his chances or he is lining up a fight with Mayweather Jr instead. I mean, the Hattons agreed to give Pacquiao the majority of the purse.

Ant Evans wrote:Well done Team Hatton for not taking it laying down. He brings as much to table as Pac-Man, even Arum says so, but too many "experts" are in Manny's ear.

Hopefully this brinkmanship will slap Pac to his senses.
I thought Hatton was in it for the Glory?

All I have heard is Hatton saying it should be 50/50 because the MUGS in the UK will pay £15.00 on top of their SKY subscription to watch him fight.

Hatton should have taken the fight and made Pacman pay in the ring!

FFS!

Not really. 50-50 would be fair, imo, yet Hatton was willing to go to 52-48 in favour of Pacquiao.

Simple fact is Hatton needs Pacman more than the Pacman needs Hatton.

Hatton always goes on about wanting to be the best lb4lb fighter and then he's achieved everything he wants to achieve. This puts the Pacman in the driving seat and rightly so wanting the bigger cut. Yeah yeah, Ricky man of the people Hatton has shitloads of fans, but the Phillipino's will be paying back home to watch it, not to mention the Americans. Furthermore, staging the fight in the 20k off MGM would not mean Hatton was swamped with a ridiculous majority unlike had the fight been at Wembley.

Hatton now fighting looking to fight someone like Diaz is a joke, Pacman has already sparked him, he should be moving up and taking on the likes of Cotto or Margarito etc, not looking at others who are moving up. Yes Pacman was one of these but he's the best, and just come off a magnificent win against DLH at 147.

Shut it, Edward Murphy.

Pacman is a career superfeaher who beat shot to do shit DLH.

PBF would toy with him and stop him, Marquez has his number!

Judah is more dangerous than Pacman for the 6 rounds he fights and I would not complain if Hatton fought him, but he won't!

I think Judah would stop Marquez and Diaz....dont you?

Hatton feasts on smaller guys, he should fight someone his own size...at 147!

Clottley need a fight!

:D

Its not THAT Diaz Hatton wants to fight, but Campbell already beat THIS Diaz!

Hatton should have taken the split.

If Hatton fights a Diaz it won't be David, it will be Juan. Pacquiao has not fought Juan Diaz.

Who is better and stands their ground?

I was commenting on you saying that Pacquiao "would likely give Hatton a pasting". Which seems like a strange thing for a poster called hitman-hatton1 to say.

OK, my original point still stands, the only person left for Hatton after beating Mallignagi at 140 was the Pacman, if he wont fight him, then Hatton should move up and on towards someone like Cotto / Margarito, not fights moving up to his weight class.
