pac may be a greedy sod.
but he's a damn good fighter that would likely give hatton a pasting.

I thought Hatton was in it for the Glory?Ant Evans wrote:Well done Team Hatton for not taking it laying down. He brings as much to table as Pac-Man, even Arum says so, but too many "experts" are in Manny's ear.
Hopefully this brinkmanship will slap Pac to his senses.
Not really. 50-50 would be fair, imo, yet Hatton was willing to go to 52-48 in favour of Pacquiao.banjo wrote:Both as bad as each other really

Try Clottey or Judah?
Pathetic if it is MArquez or Diaz...
Hatton lost the Pacman fight!
Take the short money (man of the people)and make him pay in the Ring!
Its a effing credit crunch and Hatton wants us all to travel AND those who don't travel must pay to watch him for £15.00?
Nah!
At last!banjo wrote:Both as bad as each other really

Its not THAT Diaz Hatton wants to fight, but Campbell already beat THIS Diaz!Finch wrote:Simple fact is Hatton needs Pacman more than the Pacman needs Hatton.
Hatton always goes on about wanting to be the best lb4lb fighter and then he's achieved everything he wants to achieve. This puts the Pacman in the driving seat and rightly so wanting the bigger cut. Yeah yeah, Ricky man of the people Hatton has shitloads of fans, but the Phillipino's will be paying back home to watch it, not to mention the Americans. Furthermore, staging the fight in the 20k off MGM would not mean Hatton was swamped with a ridiculous majority unlike had the fight been at Wembley.
Hatton now fighting looking to fight someone like Diaz is a joke, Pacman has already sparked him, he should be moving up and taking on the likes of Cotto or Margarito etc, not looking at others who are moving up. Yes Pacman was one of these but he's the best, and just come off a magnificent win against DLH at 147.
If Hatton fights a Diaz it won't be David, it will be Juan. Pacquiao has not fought Juan Diaz.Finch wrote:Simple fact is Hatton needs Pacman more than the Pacman needs Hatton.

Ah, my mistake, sorry. Would that be at 140 ?DG. wrote:Its not THAT Diaz Hatton wants to fight, but Campbell already beat THIS Diaz!Finch wrote:Simple fact is Hatton needs Pacman more than the Pacman needs Hatton.

Hatton should have taken the split.
Yep. Hatton won't go lower than 140 lbs, imo.Finch wrote:Ah, my mistake, sorry. Would that be at 140 ?
OK, my original point still stands, the only person left for Hatton after beating Mallignagi at 140 was the Pacman, if he wont fight him, then Hatton should move up and on towards someone like Cotto / Margarito, not fights moving up to his weight class.Asterix wrote:Yep.
