Camps can't agree on purse split
The camps of Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton have both rejected a compromise on the purse split of their proposed May 2 super fight. The Pacquiao camp demanded a 60-40 split, while the Hatton camp insisted on 50-50. Attempts to salvage the fight with 52-48 and 55-45 splits failed and now both camps say they are pursuing other options. Hatton promoter Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy ripped into the Pacman, telling the LA Times “Frankly, I’m disgusted at the behavior of Manny Pacquiao. He’s a spoiled young kid who doesn’t know how to behave#.
” Hatton now may target Oscar De La Hoya as his next opponent.

I disagree mate. The purse split was fair, they even gave him slightly more. Manny should've accepted.

Hatton should have accepted it FOR THE FANS!
The he shold have beat Pacman for making him take a smaller cut!
Hatton ws talkig about all the revenue the fight would make in the UK, basically saying..
'THE FANS HAVE TO PAY UP MORE MONEY FOR US TO SHARE'
He is not content with the Fans travelling all the way to America, he wants the ones at hime to pay £15.00 as well.
Manny might has been greedy - BUT -Hatton is for US - the people,he should have accpeted the cut..for US!
As if he would!

Marquez has had 1 fight at lightweight, he is basically a career feather/superfeather!

bradley and holt are fighting each other by the looks of it.
kotelnik couldn't even beat the aforementioned witter.
marquez will do just fine.

I still would like to see Hatton vs Judah, for me Judah is the 140 lber out there with name recognition and also ability.
If Bradley gets by Holt, then maybe him also..... Holt beats Bradley - Nah... too proven, we know Holts level (on a par with Malignaggi).
Witter - oh please give us a break... He lost two fights ago! Lost badly, and clearly - no excuse. On home ground, plenty of time to prepare... all things in his corner. Just not as good as Bradley.

Why on Earth would he fight Judah? There is no possible thing to gain.
He'd have to come out of his comfort weight and fight a guy with a style that troubles him, plus he'd get NO credit for beating Judah and would be finished if he lost.
He'd actually be better taking a fight he was certain of losing but everyone knew he was going to lose than lose to Judah who the average casual would be expecting him to beat.

Its funny that the boxrec forum is just about the only place left in the world where people think fights are made by sticking a pin into a list of top 5 names in a division.

Pacquio vs Hatton is still on I reckon, this is just extreme brinkmanship imho.

Didn't DLH negotiations break down over the exact same thing? Pac wanted a bigger share, but DLH considered himself the draw. Then I think they came up with a floating 10% that would go to the winner.

they should take 40% each with the winner taking the extra 20%

Judah is fighting now at 140... and at 140 I would say he is the most dangerous fighter around. Excluding Pacquiao.
Fighting Judah is something similar to fighting Castillo... he might not be at his best, he might not be a belt holder, but is probably considered the best fighter.

Hmm, not sure about that. Judahs getting on a bit now, and hasn't really set the world alight for some time. He's a hard night's work for anyone for sure, but he's not the man in the division.
