Whats the odds that Oscar will get "blamed" if the fight does happen.

At 154 I see Oscar taking Hatton, the Pacquaio defeat was partly styles. Apparently Mayweather's also been contacted. Don't worry Ricky I'm sure Witter will give you a fight if you need someone

Or Margarito

I don't want to see Oscar vs Ricky anymore, I want to see both tested - at 154 if Oscar is 70% the fighter of 2003/2004 then it is no test for him... way to big.
At 147, or even at a crazier 140 (which was discussed before the Pacquiao fight) I think Oscar is too drained and Hatton wins easily.
I'm not saying I don't think the match is not appealing in some ways, but not now. Maybe if Oscar fought Forrest first, and Ricky fought Berto... then we might have something.

The only way I would find it appealing is if DLH beat Forrest and Hatton beat someone like Berto first and then they had it at 150 or something.
At least beating Forrest would show DLH had something left, Forrest is possibly considered the #1 Light Middleweight currently (well not exactly sure of Williams' plans). Hatton beats Berto, it might show he is more mature at 147 this time. I think if DLH beats Forrest at 154, then he must fight Hatton at 150 - cause he will destroy Hatton at 154.

I was wondering how long it would take Hatton to get round to the BIGGEST money clash..... and the least competitive one

Hatton is fighting Pacman. This is the poorest piece of brinkmanship EVER.

If De La Hoya-Hatton happens, then once again, it will be a case of the public being conned.
Meantime, I can see terms being agreed for a certain Mr Mayweather to box a certain Mr Pacquiao sometime soon. Hatton is clearly ending up with scraps here in terms of fighting the best.
Ricky was ringside for Pacquiao-De La Hoya, admitting Oscar looked pretty poor, saying fighting at 147lbs had a bad effect on him. Ricky even said it was sad to see Oscar receive a beating. Now he wants to fight him lol!
Its purely a money fight. Oscar is shot. Even if Ricky beats Oscar, it does not do anything for his P4P status, which I thought was the whole point of Ricky boxing Pacquiao.
If Ricky-Oscar, Pacquiao-Mayweather are both staged in May, I know which one I would choose to watch! Sorry Ricky...

maybe not...but i'm sure the £10-15million he'd get would soften the blow
