Few of the usual fun and games when this fight was announced yesterday.
Bit suprised to learn that a manchester fighter Anthony Farnell is helping Burns prepare by having Frankie Gavin spar with the Scotsman. Traitor? Interesting, cos its sure to get Gomez fired up.

Good fight - Burns has decent chops, so I can see Gomez beating himself around round six.

Bit of a silly thing to say really mate don't u think??
Arnie is still pals with Mike n speaks to him often.
Also Frankie Gavin n Mike don't quite match up stylewise do they now, never mind the southpaw thing.
Back to the fight think this will be a great fight between two great fighters.

Think should be a great fight, Burns is a very good boxer when he gets behind the Jab.
See him his last fight looking for that 1 big shot it did come but i think if he does this against Gomez then Gomez will love and win.. Think if Burns gets on his boxing he could nick it...
