I think this is a cracking move and good look to the lad - should get him on a few bills stateside as well which wont hurt. Both brothers are great fighters and Joe Gallagher looks to have a cracking stable coming along there now with Jeffries as well. Can't wait till he starts fighting in the northwest so i can go and support him.

Hatton might do shows with Maloney again.

There has been lots of similar claims - well it happens in lots of different sports. I remember the hype (years ago) about Lee Sharpes brother, then I know there were claims that Matthew was going to be better than Ricky Hatton, Gilbert better than Howard Eastman, Wayne Rooney's brother was going to be better than him, and Amir Khan's brother is going to be better than him (that might still happen).

Not saying these claims are unfounded. He looks rounded from the clips I have seen of him.

Yeah it's hardly surprising, as Hatton is a massive name looked up to by many of the fighters in Manchester.

Still, it is curious in that we don't know what Hatton can do as a promoter, for others.

Yes, I would imagine he will have some ties with GBP, so that will be promising in terms of US promotions. That might be the edge, Hatton Promotions has over its UK rivals who seem to have a problem getting the US interested.
