You have to pay some sort of tax pal when it arrives at your door if i remember rightly, so it worked out around the same price when it got here frm USA, be dearer now i'd imagine because of the exchange rate.

I got a couple of dressing gowns from a US site and they whacked a load on, like another 50%, it's another British stealth tax

Yeah, you will get a separate tax bill when you order from the States. Can be a bit pricey as well. For example I've been hit with a 30 quid fedex bill after ordering a t-shirt from the States. Sugarrays is the only decent website to get boxing gear from in Britain as far as i'm aware.

I didn't know about VIP. I don't think anyone would mind if you wanted to tell us a bit about your stuff. You don't seem to have any competitors posting here.

For anyone who's interested: http://www.ecommercemate.com/ecm/shop/v ... gequipment

I like the look of your stuff, Jamie. How long have you been using your own (as in VIP) gloves? Since the Mugurel Sebe fight?

Yes wore them against Sebe and Lujan but the weren't quiet right so had them re-developed in the meantime and think we've got em spot on now. I'll be testing em out on Piccirilo's chin next month. :TU:

I don't think they will be as cheap as Sugar Rays but www.wbcme.co.uk has a lot of Reyes equipment and is UK based and very reliable.

Oh and good luck Jamie! :box:

For what it's worth, there are normally a few pairs kicking about on ebay.
