Did he pick up an injury? His career was going very well, four British title fights and the Commonwealth belt, but he appears to be no longer active.

I think it was something with his back (I'm getting old so my memory doeas fail me).
He was going to have an operation but the %'s were not that great so he left it I think.
Shame that, he was on a roll at the time.

All of yor memories to sevre correctly.
Was involved in a car crash and badly injuried his back. This was about a month before Commonwealth title fight against Williams. The Bout got rearraged twice, but eventually Scott had to retire due to the back injury.
He is currently still involved in boxing working with juniors and there is no chance of a comeback due to the severity if the injury. Scott is a great guy and all really felt for him when the realisation dawned that he would never fight again.

Ah OK. Thought you meant you were a boxer. That was on the Audley-Francis card, right? Scott looked good that night.

He was good. Danny's always been a decent starter but they don't usually catch up with him that quick.

At least Dann can show everyone the Lonsdale belt he won outright, must of been a huge blow to him not to have been able to continue his career.

He's back in training and will be fighting again, probably at SM.
