I imagine most of the posters on the current scene are American and probably don't buy into Haye, but they all seem to say he doesn't deserve a shot at either Klit and needs to have more fights at HW as if being the UNDISPUTED CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION counts for nothing, surely that in itself deserves a shot at any top HW imo, is it just sour grapes because there best hope is OVERWEIGHT CHAMPION Arreola who i believe Haye would lead a merry dance around

I know but the way they slag him off is unreal they claim to know there boxing but for them to just disregard him the way they do shows a total lack of knowledge imo. With the risk of sounding like Chambers i think Haye does a number on Wlad Klit

It could be a mixture of things really.

Both Klitschkos have mandatories to fulfill so why should he jump the straight to the title?

Why not fight the likes of Arreola? It's better than sitting around twiddling his thumbs while waiting for one of the Klitschkos to fight isn't it? I'd rather keep busy knocking out all the other fighters that the Klitschkos might want to face then they'd have no choice who they fight then would have to fight him.

His obnoxious attitude doesn't help his popularity either(yes I know he's just trying to sell tickets and stir up interest but it isn't very classy walking up to somebody at a charity event and start spouting shit is it?)

Anyway people hating him is a good thing though because it hasn't done the likes of Mayweather, Naz and Hopkins any harm has it, hell even Muhammad Ali was one of the most hated men on the planet at some point.

Ideally I would love to see Haye Vs the fat dollop, but that won't happen. I think Haye would beat him too.

I agree with him keeping busy, but if he was to cop an unfortunate one from a big HW that could put an end to any potential fight with either Klit. Also i don't think its many Brits who dislike Haye just people from across the pond .

The crux of the problem is, it's not modded properly. It used to be great. But when fighters are posting on there and they get hounded off the board, what can you expect.

You forgot Tye Fields, Joe Mesi, Dominic Guinn and Taurus Sykes.

I was talking metaphorically - I think "fat dollop" can handily describe 50% of current heavyweights.

If Harrison beat Rogan, then I would've loved to see Haye Vs Audley - it would've been a good fight for Haye to take whilst he waited for Wlad. Audley wouldn't pose much risk, he's tall, big and has a decent jab. The perfect warm-up for Wlad I thought.

Audrey would never have gotten in the ring with Haye imo, i think he would be frightened to throw a punch in the event of getting caught by a combination in the process

I think Haye would give Skelton his biggest defeat to date, he's far too fast for Matt IMO

haye hasn't really done enuff to earn the wladimir klitschko fight really.

i mean klitschko is the regarded world no1 on recent results.

Don`t underestimate Wlad. He can box a bit and has a great dig.

He will likely be too big and ring wise for Haye. I can see Haye either going early or running out of gas and being done in the middle rounds.

How is he more ring wise than Haye ? you say that as if Haye is a 10-15 fight novice, Haye knows how to come of the canvas to win, does Wlad Klit ?

The point is that Wlad has boxed nearly 250 pro rounds, a lot of them at championship level (allegedly). Haye has fought 78 rounds as a pro, so I think it is a fair comment that Wlad is more ring wise than Haye. He has far greater experience. This is only Haye`s 23 rd fight, whereas Wlad is up in his 50`s.

Haye has not had that many tests either, Mormack and Frogomeni aside, who has he beaten??? Big mac and a disinterested Monte Barret??

Wlad got of the floor to beat Samuel Peter, he knows how to win tough if needed.

Don`t get me wrong, I want Haye to win, but I just don`t see it happening.

I`ve said many times before that Haye is my favourite active British boxer - but, even I don`t think he`s really deserving of a straight shot at any of the heavyweight titles.

Was he really that dominant at cruiser in the same way as Holyfield was? and has he done enough at heavyweight??
Honestly, I think not.

Haye should FIGHT and stay busy. A lot of guys he would do within a handful of rds. Keep thre skills sharp, keep ppl talking about him, build things up. Sitting and waiting isn't going to help negotiations. Wlad will want paying well to bring his world heavyweight titles over here, despite being a fairly dismal (if effective) fighter.
