in which the lesser paid fighter won the fight. I've found a few, but I'm sure there are more. I'm talking about the bigger fights, and big differences.

Oscar DLH (30 Million) losing to Bernard Hopkins (14 Million)
Oscar DLH (12 Million) losing to Shane Mosley (4 Million)
Tito Trinidad (10 Million) losing to Winky Wright (4 Million)
Roy Jones Jr (6 Million) losing to Antonio Tarver (2 Million)

Any others? I'm sure Tyson has a few.

Braddock/Baer and Douglas/Tyson. Don't know what the purses were, but as damaged goods as Braddock and Douglas were against big star monster fighters, the % they got was a pittance.

The worst % I know of is Floyd 3 mil vs Sharmba Mitchell's 100grand, a purse split 97/3, a shameful split. Too bad Floyd won.

Speaking of Floyd, how times have changed...

Floyd Mayweather ($150,000) beats Genaro Hernadez ($600,000)

I heard that Hasim Rahman was only paid $13,000 to fight Lennox Lewis, who got about $6 million. Lewis got paid more ($11 million to $5 million plus PPV) for the rematch also, despite being the challenger.

...when willie pep defended his title against ray famechon the latter got nothing.. nada. zilch. although this purse wouldn't be anything like the million dollar purses listed here, it is a big margin when you consider nothing against whatever willie got.

r: those super huge purses i just mentioned....if you believe those numbers i have a 200 pound chimpanzee for sale..gentle, toilet trained and knows how to mix a perfect martini.

Just looking at "A Pictorial History of Boxing" and it states regarding the Floyd Patterson vs. Peter Rademacher fight:

"Peter received nothing for his services while Patterson, guaranteed by his backer $250,000, received that amount."

250,000 vs. 0

Tim Witherspoon (£90,000) v Frank Bruno (£700,000), and Witherspoon was the champion. But he had Don King as his promoter...

And you can bet your life Tim didn't end up with a near fraction of that £90,000!

Well it's only fair that Witherspoon gave back a share of his purse for the privilege of using Don's training facilities.
You guys make it sound like robbery.
