Seems a few wanted to know what a Lurcher is.
Michael Jennings has a Lurcher or 2 apparently.
I know Tyson had a Tiger or Lion - wtf?!
Any other Boxers have Dogs?
Crap thread but so what!

They look like Greyhounds to me DG.
I thought a Lurcher was bigger and hairier.
I shall go away and consult some other sources and then return.

it would appear that you have indeed posted a picture of Lurchers after all
it is a "type" rather than a "breed" of dog according to wikipedia. So as all Lurchers are crossbreeds they can be a small as a whippet or as large as a deerhound. "Coat types range from being short and smooth, like that of a greyhound, to slightly longer and thicker like that of a collie, to rough and broken like that of a terrier".
So for an entertaining as well as educational boxing forum, make it Boxrec every time

in fact it's nigh on impossible not to always be right with statements like:
Michael Jennings has a lurcher OR 2.....
Mike Tyson had a Lion OR a Tiger...
