It's a difficult analogy to comprehend DG, because of the weight differential....

Would Benn hit harder than Tyson if he had been a natural heavyweight or vice versa ?

That would be my top 3 too. Nas and Tyson had that crazy combination of speed and power. Jackson just had lead fukin fists from what i've seen of him.

McClellan had the heaviest hands.

Jackson was the best knockout artist (S.A.T - speed, accuracy, timing).

Nigel Benn was the powerfullest hitter, superb natural punching leverages and simply just swung to kill. Let's not forget at super-middleweight he was in the ring with 13-stone blokes when he could still make middle. Benn was the biggest banger for his size, he had the frame of a light-middle and lifted weights. He fought at light-welter in the army. Superb natural punching leverages that were something to behold, esp before he calmed down via America.

earnie shavers didnt have the complete package, but as far as punch power goes...

I'd go for Felix Trinidad at welter/light middle. Or maybe Hearns. Assuming we are not penalising them for being able to box.

Indeed he had murderous punching power, don't forget the Terry Norris KO as well.

Speaking of Naz, watch that Graham v Jackson fight again, you can see a 15/16 year old Naz carrying the flag into the ring

Up to 5 years ago, the fastest punch ever caught on film was thrown by Jack Dempsey. But that's a one-off.
