I would vote Frankie Gavin as i've seen him in the gym quite a few times and he looks something special but he aint on the list!

Sutherland gets my vote.

Sutherland looks to have a good pro style , tucks up nice, big punch. Never seen a problem with his chin in the am's . He should make a mark as a pro.

i'd be interested to see if Kenny Egan went pro, think he could be a bit of a surprise there. Not heard anything though to suggest he will turn pro

On the flip side of the coin i dont think that Degales style will translate well at all.

decent hitter.

ability to mix it up.

looks a tough sort.

fast hands.

degale is the best of the bunch.

watch his amateur fights and tell me he can't tough it out when a guy gets rough and ready.

also although i loved Egan's skill and style i wonder if he is a more amateur-suited fighter too

Pretty much what Old Bones Ian said. I'm looking forward to seeing how Funtime does as well. I know there's a massive gulf between the ams and the pros but Frankie winning the world title and being undefeated for 3 years is surely a good omen.

DeGale has some amateur stuff to get rid of, but if he listens and learns then he could do something, i don't think he'll be a KO puncher, but has alot of skill, and thinks in the ring.

There are a couple of Am's i'd like to see in the pro's , but don't know if we will . Vasyl Lomachenko and Roberto Cammarelle . Both won there gold medals with ease, Cammarelle didn't really get out of 2nd gear in any of his fights. Lomachenko looks dynamite, he seemed to have it all.
Both of those guys look like they could move quickly into world class, one other guy i liked in the Olympics was Óscar Rivas, he lost to Cammarelle, and he looked very raw, but i warmed to him and he looked a bit of a nutter.

Sutherland, he looks to be made for the pros and the longer fights

Sutherland, he seems to be more suited to pros than ams IMO

Providing he doesn't mature too early, BJ Saunders for me.

The most gifted fighter on the list and a style that will sit well in the pro's.
Mind you, I imagine his weight class will be harder to conquer than the others.

I agree, including Rivas.
I thought he looked perfect for the pro ranks. Could excite.

I agree 100%

BJ Saunders looks quick, sharp, confident and mature in the ring. Think he'll do well. Gavin clearly has all the ability in the world and for me it will come down to the degree of his self-discipline.

I'm not sure that BJ hasn't turned pro a bit early, if he hasn't got the right strength for the pro's will that mean watching him being protected for the next couple of years.

I know people say that boxers don't learn that much new by staying amatuer, but watching the cubans that have come over it doesn't seem to have done them harm being in the amatuers for longer.

Came across really well to be honest, seems like a really good kid! A bit of a joker and can get carried away so needs to be looked after in the right way an steered away from the shit! I did'nt see how his lifestyle was outside of the gym so his eating habits etc are not for me to comment on but if he is eating wrong and living it up in life, only he is to blame. He should remember this sport can make him millions!

Frankie is in the best place for him IMO>

Arnie Farnell's gym in Manchester.

It gets him out of Brum, away from his palls who can distract him and Arnie is a real student of the game; he can show Frankie how to develop a more professional style. Get him planting his feet more, 'fencing' less and making his innate ability to slip shots and judge space/distance count.

Also the gym seems to have a great atmosphere with Steve Bell, Tony Bellew and Anthony Crolla likely to keep Frankie occupied and enjoying his boxing.

I look forward to seeing how he looks tonight..

Buncey had a good shout last week when he said there could b another Benn/Watson/Eubank withDeGale/Sutherland/Jeffries but think Sutherland will b brilliant
