now that rogan is a mandatory to fight for the EBU title who would he be up against im sure it should be the number 2 ranked heavy in europe but if warren has optons on rogan would a rematch be made or a fight against williams if he beats mcdermott?
would anyone be intressted in this fight if it was against skelton or williams?

i assumed rogan was already a allegedly fighter if hes not with warren is he still part of matchroom

With that in mind Ill be amazed if its Rogan v Williams for the European title, Williams wont move up in these ratings if he isn't fighting, this isnt the WBO. Rogan may go flying up the ratings, we'll see who the EBU assign. Historically they do it by the book and pick the 2 highest guys who want to fight for the title. Samm, Skelton, Vidoz and maybe even Virchis are unlikely to get much better offers because they are coming off defeats or have been inactive.

We'll see but I dont think there's a donkeys chance in hell the EBU will be duped into naming Williams as a challenger.

Did Skelton vacate the EBU title? If so why? Seems mad to me that he'd want to give that up.

haye vs rogan seems a good fight that could sell over here quite well, the best 2 heavys in brittain goin at it for euro title

I imagine Alexander Dimitrenko will be involved if he wants to be, he was nominated to face Skelton before the Rogan fight. Rogan VS Dimitrenko for the vacant title would make the most sense to me, and the EBU are normally fairly good with these things, at least compared to other sanctioning bodies! Of course whether Dimitrenko wants that fight when he's sitting on a WBO no.1 ranking is another matter.

If people were moaning about Haye getting a world title shot, imagine how they will react if Rogan gets one off the back of Skelton and Audley!

If he can get it done, fight for the Euro. If he wins that against Samil Sam or Dimitrenko, he will start to appear on the current world champs lists of possible opponents I reckon.

To be fair, beating Skelton is a better HW result than beating Barrett. Not for one minute saying Rogan should be ranked higher than Haye, though!

I fancy Rogie could get a result against Samil Sam but I dont fancy his chances against Dimitrenko

Saying that I didnt think he would beat Fraudly or Skelton either!

Fair play tho Id definately be interested in seeing that fight, its better than a lot of World heavyweight title fights that we have seen in recent years, both in terms of competitiveness and in quality.

Maybe it will not happen this fight because of their high ranking with the IBF/WBO but thats the fight the EBU have put forward to purse bids, if neither man wants to then maybe Rogan v Samil Sam could be made..
