I know theres a bloke on her who trained in the same gym as Lennox Lewis around 1990, made me wonder whether he ever sparred with big Lennie, or in fact if anyone around here has shared a ring with a pro in their time (those of us who aren't also professional boxers, thats not as fun)

My trainer sparred with Lee McAllistar not very famous but o well

Did 3 rounds with Mick Hennessy and Dennis Hobson though!!!!

Hennessy was in the Lennox Lewis College.

Hobson was in The Top Rank Gym in Vegas.

ive sparred with davie mchale and ian mcgirr

mchale challenged for the british title - super feather
mcgirr was a journeyman who i think fought for the scottish title

ta. Never been so nervous climbing the steps with a bunch of dour looking Mexicans watching me.

Hussein Osman a good few years ago, and a couple of mates who are lower level pro's.

Not sparred, but worked out next to Jose Ribalta and Henry Wharton. Ribalta could step over the top rope easily. Quite a cool trick, but didn't help him against Bruno

Steve Ede many years ago when he was an amateur out of Southampton ABC.

That wasn't 3 rounds mate - it was a tiff and then some drinking was done!!! - we roomed together at Caesars Palace for the Hatton/Castillo fight - then straight after we got back from that trip we found out what Kingy had been up to - I was genuinally shocked as he gave me no indication whatsoever!!! - shows how little you know people!!!
