British destroyer Yuri Romanov was supposed to be fighting Joan Guzman for the vacant IBF lightweight title. However due to some suspension Guzman has in Mississippi or wherever, the IBF seem to have reconsidered and will not approve him as the opponent.

I wonder who Romanov will fight.

There's Anthony Peterson, that Angulo guy who lost to Juan Diaz in the top 10. Funeka can't fight for it as he's coming off a loss. Hopefuly so too is Zahir Raheem, a terrible opponent for Romanov.

If Murray could have got hold of Prescott, and worn him down, it could well have happened. Prescott's in the top 10-12 IBF.

Don't like Guzman myself, too much of the spoiler, too defensive for me. Up to light welter where he won't be any good.

I was there for the Thaxton fight, tremendously one sided! Romanov cut him to ribbons with ease, total class.

Bring in Breidis Prescott! Yuri would chop him in half.
