that looks like Amir Khan to me on the left, and I feel the shorter fighter on the right has more than a hint of the 'Mexican' about him........

I am only kidding of course. It would be nice to see the baton if you like handed down to a younger man, although I do not expect Khan to reach the level Barrera has done. That said I am well excited about going to see an absolute Ledge that is Barrera, and if he (MAB) does win I can't say I will exactly be gutted.
If the wheels come off for Khan he and his team are going to look well stupid for skipping the apprenticeship.
I've no idea how it will pan out but I've gone Barrera TKO 4, why put off til round 10 what can be done in round 4

i watched that KO's programme last night on ITV4 after Reg.
Showed a little bit of Khan. Especially the bit of footage against Ryan Barrett, he looked so fast and so strong, Barrett was angry cos he clearly wasn't going to let Khan phase him but he just couldn't keep Khan off him. Bear in mind Ryan then KO'd Fehintola for the English belt.
Point is...I found myself thinking if he turned on the speed against a 35yr old Barrera then Barrera could go the same way as Barrett....I hope not, I hope it's a quality match up.
Khan will no way try to "jump" Barrera in round 1 like he did Earl, Barrett etc..etc.. cos he will be wary of getting clocked. Barrera has that much talent and experience that he could catch Khan on the chin blindfolded I reckon.
It's perfectly poised this fight, so many ifs, I just can't wait!

I watched that too good show. Nice to see the some old footage of the legends.
