Im assuming that the winner of this fight gets a world title shot from one of the main bodiesI see a fire in the eye of marco prior to his fight with khan, he knows that morales is returning and both intend to to be the first mexican to win 4 titles.Prior to khans k.o by presscot i would of called this a 50/50 fight, now i side heavily toward barrera for a late stoppage.
My main concern for barrera is how long can he keep going and how many more wars can he be in?
but the morales factor will add extra desire to barreras cause, they ve both been amazing fighters, im sure it irks barrera that morales has a decision over pacman. So who do you think will get the 4th title -barrera

morales

or neither

Neither, if Barrera does beat Khan it was evident in the Pacquiao & Marquez fights he doesn't have enough left to compete at the highest level. Morales is even more gone than Barrera and personally I don't think we will see him again in the ring.

I can see khan being to big for Barrera and to powerful and fast hope barrera wins but cant see it happening mid to late stoppage for khan

It would only take 1 punch from MAB to have Khan all at sea...

If Barrera has anything left then he wins, does he have anything left?

We will see how much next week!

:D

Thats the thing about this fight .. its more about what Barrera has left and not how good/bad Khan is.

Barrera quite recently did quite a bit of work with Edwin Valero .. I can`t help thinking this will have some relevance towards MAB`s decision to take on Khan .. whilst not as tall as Khan, Valero hits much much more harder and represents a lively type fighter .. if he was able to shut down Valero then I guess his chances of getting to Khan are pretty certain .. as said - it`ll only take Barrera landing the once to end Khans dream.

Valero's got slow hands & his punches are as wide as a nightwalker's cunny. Strong as an ox but slings them from the hip rather than the shoulder. Nothing like Khan technically.

He's only ever fought one live body, Mosquera -- good win mind but the hushed awe & reverent tones in which he is spoken of grate a bit with me.

I'm no Amir sycophant but I quite fail to see that "one clean punch" that everyone is wibbling on about from Barrera is going to clean Khan's clock. He's not a lightweight version of Michael bloody Moorer & people speak about Barrera as if he was the featherweight version of Earnie Shavers. He's always been heavy-handed yes but at the top, top level it was his handspeed & ability to apply technical textbook gifts that gave guys fits. The only fighter he's knocked out with one punch that I can recall is Mzonke Fana & even Riddick Blowehard would concede that Amir probably takes a more solid shot.

Fana does look chinny but bar Barrera no-one has blown him away. He beat Ali Funeka going twelve with him and got up of the floor against big punching Randy Suico. Hard to say if Khan takes a better shot as the only puncher he went in with ko'ed him in a round. I've gone backwards and forwards on Khan-Barrera. Khan points or Barrera ko for me.

Khan was wobbled by a jab :o .. so a Barrera punch like the one that put Marquez down is going to put him on jelly legs atleast

Valero is a lively fighter .. by which I mean an attacking relentless type ... of course he is nothing style wise like Khan .. in Khans dreams I`d imagine
