Former Canberra NRL player Todd Carney has been arrested for Malicious Damage after jumping up and down on the roof of a car outside Goulburn Worker's Club after another drunken episode. He has been bailed to appear at Court on April the first.
How apt is that for a man who has destroyed his future by the age of 23? Going to Court on April Fools Day.

It's an extremely sad story this one, a very talented footballer and i think this time he's throwing it away.
What about Watmough bashing one of the sponsors for Manly.

With benny as coach the Saints should be able to break their 30 year drought.
They'll be very competitive.

That has been settled. The allegation was that Watmough slapped the bloke, reports are there were two sides to the story. Claims are that the "sponsor" was ejected from the function for drunkenness and re entered the premises. Manly have a bigger problem with the sexual assault allegation against their fullback Brett Stewart. The papers this weekend have been full of how important he is to Manly and now he looks like being suspended for a few weeks and investigations are continuing. I wonder how much it will cost the Sea Eagles to buy their boy out of this one.

So Watmough backhanded the sponsor for getting out of line. Thats classic.
Who's going to take out the title, this year?
I've got the Bronco's in there somewhere.

I'll throw three teams in mix, St George, Warriors and Cowboys.

The Dragons and Cowboys have stocked their stables well, haven't had a look at the Warriors yet.
I think Manly and Melbourne will still be top 6 at least.

yeah Manly and Melbourne will still be there or there abouts but I think they have both lost a fair bit from last season, especially Melbourne, and the current dramas won't help Manly. While they might be there I don't think they will really factor come September...

Going to be an interesting year. I think Storm should take the grand final, but my dark horses are the warriors. Stacey Jones out of retirement and on fire during the trail games, and the team gelling well. they do look a very good outfit this year.

I can't see the storm winning it, but they will be there in september, i agree that stacey jones is a huge plus for the warriors, they've needed a little general to lead the giants around the field.
Top 6 of the final 8.
Manly
Brisbane
Melbourne
St George
Warriors
Cronulla
