Shannan "The Bulli Blaster" Taylor's next fight will be against New Zealander Daniel McKinnon in Wollongong in mid-May.
McKinnon has fought Daniel "The Real Deal" Geale for the Australian's International Boxing Organisation (IBO) world title and and will be a tough opponent for Taylor.
Taylor is back in training at Wollongong PCYC after going the distance with Anthony "The Man" Mundine in their World Boxing Association (WBA) international middleweight title fight in front of a massive crowd at WIN Entertainment Centre on February 11.
Taylor is negotiating a rematch with Mundine, who claimed a unanimous points decision last time.
Former world light heavyweight champion Danny "The Green Machine" Green, who came out of a year-long retirement last month, also wants to fight Taylor, but that bout may not be as soon as either camp would like.
"I want to fight Danny Green," Taylor said, "but I'm going to have a couple of fights at middleweight, slowly take it up to super middleweight and by the end of this year or January, me and Green are going to get this on."
Taylor is still angry about the timing of Green's comeback after a year out of the ring.
"Coming out on the day it was my show with Mundine and his stunt of getting out of a helicopter - that was showing off," Taylor said.
"I want to hit him on the chin for it."
Taylor is focused on McKinnon, but keeping his options open.
He is considering a rematch with Mundine, challenging Geale for his IBO world title or going to Germany to fight Felix Sturm for the WBA world belt.
