No more chances

Name a fighter (or 2) who you believe was robbed in a title fight and never fought for a title again. Some examples:
1. Floyd Patterson. In Jmmy Ellis' first defense of his WBA title he was outboxed and outpunched by the former champ. In one of the worst decisions I ever saw Ellis won by MD. Although Patterson later lost to Ali for the NABF title, he was never givin another major title chance.
2. Eddie Cotton. The 39 year old Cotton easily beat Jose Torres in every facet of the game but lost via a horrible split decision. Cotton never got a rematch and was nicknamed "The Uncrowned Champ.) A year after "beating" Torres he was blasted out by Bob Foster in 3 and retired shortly afterwards.
3. Jimmy Young. This is a strange case. After beating Muhammad Ali at his own game by fighting when he wanted and not allowing Ali to mount any offense, Young was robbed in the decision. After having to wait around for a while Jimmy Young easily beat George Foreman in what was supposed to be a title eliminator. Young did'nt get his title shot so the WBC set Young up in another eliminator but he lost a close one to Ken Norton and was never givin another chance.
4. Tyrone Everett. Although I did not see this one I have read in various sources that Everett was robbed in his own hometown in his try for the WBC 130 title against champion Alfredo Escalera. He was murdered 6 months later in what was believed to be a drug hit.
