What's yours? I'm going to humliiate myself by confessing that I picked Herbie Hide to beat Riddick Bowe and bet 300 quid on it. After two and a half rounds I was mentally counting my winnings, and then...Herbie fell over.

After telling everybody I knew to bet big on Lewis against Tyson I got all nervous on the day of the fight and went for Tyson by early stoppage.

Recently I tipped Jones to beat Calzaghe and Malignaggi to beat Hatton. I think therefore I know nothing.

Colin Hart predicted that Akinwande would beat Lennox Lewis and that Ali would beat Holmes. On a personal note, I had £10 on Bungu to outpoint Naz!

Mario Veit to beat Joe Calzaghe (first fight). based entirely on him being massive, undefeated and Joe not in good form. I thought we would have another Klitchsko vs Hide scenerio.

Jeez I've had plenty.

Khan to beat Prescott
Barrera to beat Khan
Enzo to spark that Ola whatshisname in 1 round
Tszyu to beat Hatton
Gatti to beat Baldomir

that's just a few :D

Ditto.

ps. One poster on this thread has failed to give their own bad pick. I seem to remember a big fuss was created when a certain poster declared he had gone LARGE on Castillo to beat Hatton....... :DD

I had £100 on Earl to beat Khan and in true Chambers style* I'd proceeded to tell numerous mates about the bet and then watched the fight with a roomful of them...... I'm still getting slaughtered for it now, especially by the ones who were thick enough to think I knew what I was on about and had also backed him

(* my apologies for referring to myself in the third person)

I could write a book on my 'Audley's gonna be Great' predictions.

I picked Tyszu to take Hatton out early. Fancied Judah to beat Cotto, picked Mosley over Cotto too, but had Mosley winning that, then thought Marg would outwork Mosley. Recently thought Pavlik would outwork an old BHOPs

Yeah, I said that Audley had the tools to become heavyweight champ. I'm not sure how wrong I was...I just didn't realise how short he was on the ticker dept.

My worst was jumping ship 30 mins before the DLH-Pac fight and lumping a big chunk on Oscar after stating for weeks that Pacquiao would stop him as DLH would be tight as hell at 147lb.

I was seething, come to think of it I still am :witzend:

What can I say? He looked like an unstopable monster when he first turned pro...

The fact that he was a banger from Brum may well have coloured my judgement on this one!

:TU: I often have last minute change of heart on fights as well - leading up the Cook-Martinez fight I was sure Martinez would stop Cook but by the day of the fight I was convinced Cook would outbox him... :KO:
