Who would you match against Tyson Fury next if you were his promoter?

Hasn't Pele Reid backed it in? Sure I read that in BN a while back. Can't see him getting in with any of the other prospects just yet. It'll probably be some rugged Eastern European type that will give him rounds.

Well his next fight is in the US, so i'm guessing he'll get an american.
on the undercard of Carl Froch's title defence, i'd expect him to get someone who will go a couple of rounds, hopefully he'll get some good TV exposure there.

Get some exposure fighting in the USA i like fury (he seems gounded), He is going to be big. really good fighter who knows how to move about a ring. Dont think he is ready for a big name but would like to see him in against a guy who is in good shape.

Harrison fought him a while back and he was a very typical journeyman. I think Fury would want someone better and most probably Hennessy will have someone in the pipeline but since we were talking about A Farce, it gave me an idea

Been told Dominic Guinn will be on the Froch card. That would be a good fight.

yes it would, at this moment we need fights that will build up Tyson in his skills and timing, he wouldn't beat Guinn. Maybe in the future he could , but it would be way to soon.
There are loads of heavies he can fight in america, all would give him rounds and maybe put him under a bit of return fire. like Zack Page, Domonic Jenkins.

Tyson is still very young and a novice, he needs to learn his trade and has been matched sensibly so far. There is no need to put him in dangerous fights yet.
We have to see past all the hype he and Hennessy churn out out, he is no where near the finished article yet, he needs the time to learn and get in some proper shape
At this point he will do his real learning in the gym and he should be taken off for proper sparring before he gets stuck in comfort zones.

You're right Mickey - Pele's final fight was in Birmingham earlier this month when he won a low key 10 rounder against Dave Ingleby for the British Masters.

Luke is his next opponent?

Probably some Bum to make him look good against and make his head slightly bigger

If he's going to America get him in there with Tye Fields

Difficult one this really as by fighting Swaby last time out he upped his calibre of opponents which means he will get slated if he goes back and fights donuts. I know swaby isnt great but he is better than most journey men.

Chisora, Burton and Sexton would all be very risky fights at this stage.

Give him a few more before fighting these guys, maybe go to the states and fight some of their fighters then come back for some big domestic tussles with the above and Price if he builds his record.

He won't win but will give Tyson some much needed rounds for sure. Also he's been in with some good fighters so will be a good measuring stick.

No way should they put Tyson in with this guy yet, Tyson is being way overated at this stage. We need to lower our expectations.

Fair enough. It is a pretty big step up I must admit, especially for a novice pro who has yet to go six rounds. But despite going twelve with Botha, Guerrero is very limited - have you seen him fight?

Mike Tyson.

I think he should fight Zuri Lawrence. The guy can't punch for toffee so there is little danger of him getting sparked. He has a good reputation in American so a win would raise is profile. Fairly granite chinned so Tyson would get some much needed rounds.
